I was a huge fan of HZD but I think I would have to give the title to the Witcher 3. Was definitely the best game I have played (opinion) this generation so far.

That wasn’t a new IP for this generation

Neither was Titanfall and Destiny was simultaneously available on 7th gen consoles so not exactly sure if it should count either.
