Bungie, Please Improve The New Grimore, Or At Least Return The Old One.

The second I heard the lore would be ingame I was happy and ecstatic. Finally I could have the lore easy and accessible right in the game. As it turned out though, the lore is neither easy to get and easily accessible to view. First, the players personal view of lore is now locked behind RNG, like how every exotic had a story in Destiny 1. The problem is, the exotic RNG of the grimore system of D1 was easily it's worst staple. Finding ghosts or crystals was a more enjoyable grimore system. Beating bosses and enemies was enjoyable. Hell even the Lighthouse grimore, which I never got to, was still a sound and solid goal to look and work forward to in the endgame. Putting lore in the same category of luck as getting Fatebringer or Necrocasm is not a fun feeling. Second, lore now is kind of a hassle to read once you get it, why isn't there some sort of archive tab? It's really a hassle to go out every time you want to reread or relisten to some lore. Either you gotta search for one piece of gear forever and hold the L2 button down the entire god damn time when you read it. Or you search through the 4 planets for a scannable object the yields three sentences of dialogue you'll forget by the time you get to the next planet. Archive it, all of it. If you can't in-game for whatever reason, do it in-app. Give us space to fill out with all of the scannble objects, all of the weapons and armor with lore, the voice dialogue along with it. It's pretty hard to grasp the state of the Fallen when you gotta search through every nook and cranny of the EDZ every single time you want a refresher. Finally, there really isn't that much lore compared to Destiny 1. While I know this is probably a combination of no in game archives, some lore being voiced, and just Destiny 1 already showing a lot lore about our enemies. There just isn't that much anymore. It just feels... hollow. I just don't know if the lore feeling hollow now is because of the terrible integration of the lore in game. Or if the terrible integration of the lore in game and the entire removal of the old system in general is because of the lore being hollow.
