After Thaviks disappear and goes invisible after taking damage, it is possible to see him climbing the walls on the arena. If you shoot him, he will fall off and instantly die, ending the strike

Edited by Talk2MeToner: 9/24/2017 6:04:21 AMThe sad thing about timed nightfalls is since they tied Rat King to having five minutes left they either have to come up with a new challenge for the last step or keep them timed. I think that's why they haven't retconned it already tbh. They have seen tons of negative feedback on the nightfall.
-
Lol no way... that's dumb but I'm doing it
-
Also heard you can use the tractor cannon to push him off the main platform
-
Can anyone confirm that this still works?
-
Not all hero's wear capes
-
So I did the NF twice yesterday and guess what? 6 people looking for him climbing on the walls and nothing. Killed him normal and got rat king anyway Hint: rat king is trash
-
Can you post the exact time where this happens? I watched the video 6 times and didn't see it.
-
Finished the nightfall, didn't see him on the wall. I don't know of we just missed him, or if it doesn't work on the nightfall. There is a conflux that respawns, allowing the timer to get maxed out at 13 min. We finished with 38 seconds left. Not an enjoyable NF.
-
They must have ninja patched this because we did it last night and he didn't die. Just reappeared up top.
-
Shhhhhhhh, dont tell bunghole
-
Justice Finally! An enemy that can be killed by those damn architects!
-
This doesn't appear to be footage from the nightfall, there's no timer on the side?
-
How exactly are you supposed to get to the -blam!-ing boss with enough time? You have to wait for Ghost to open the -blam!-ing path for 5 minutes. This timed bullshit is -blam!-ing infuriating. Make the nightfall harder, but get rid of the stupid timer. Non neckbeard players don't want to play this garbage. I play Destiny to have fun. Not rage at a -blam!-ing timer.
-
This nightfall, like all the others is actually really easy with a bit of coordination. It's just frustrating that they put timers on the content to add some artificial difficulty. This is made worse by the fact that the nightfall (and i do mean all of them) are designed to slow your progress by making the boss run away or making him invulnerable for a period of time so of course people are going to use a cheese if they can. The timer has really sapped the fun factor out of the nightfall for me. Even though we can still do it i'd much prefer to take my time and slaughter everything than be forced to run past large groups of enemies for the sake of time.
-
Or you can just do the time glitch and not have to worry about him climbing a wall or not. Got to the boss with 11 mins. and finished with 4 mins. remaining.
-
You can also get unlimited time

I think most of us don't realize that communication is key in destiny 2. In destiny 1 you could get away with being a solo player and not saying a word, this game is on a whole other level. Let me give an example; in just regular crucible if you're playing solo and you face a team you're bound to get decimated. In the raid of you're playing with people who can't make simple callouts such as " the dogs are comig towards you go left" , or even just saying what symbol is on Calus's forehead you're going to have a really rough time. I don't think LFG or playing with randoms is the way to go anymore. Everyone's better of with playing with a set group of friends CLAN than to use LFG and pray that your randoms are able to communicate. Because while you're spending 6 hours trying to get through a raid with LFG randoms, full clans of friends who know eachother are doing it 3x in just that same timeframe. And as for crucible I think its obvious a full team of people who know eachother are going to pub stomp a team of randoms or solo players. Thats just the way it is now.

There is timer on this weeks nightfall?
-
I can't confirm if you can kill him or not but before failing miserably at the NF, we got him to half health as he was crawling along the wall after the first teleport. I was using nightstalker and hit him with a super/smoke nade combo and I was Also using the exotic hunter helmet that tracks enemies. I saw him run along the top as he was marked by the X. Was way too fast to put any real damage on him though. You'd have to be on point to get him if it were possible
-
For this that don't know when the nightfall first came out this week it had burn rotation on it so some people got right through it. But the rest of us got -blam!-ed that didn't jump in right at reset.I would be surprised if 10 percent of players are making g it through.duck your new nightfalls
-
That's because you were fighting French Thaviks. American Thaviks is harder to kill.
-
It was easier just to kill him rather than looking around for him on the walls to be honest.

Edited by Dr25697: 9/20/2017 5:52:53 AMTimed Nightfalls suck. I really can't think of any other way to say it. I have no interest in timed Nightfalls.... thought last week was an anomaly... now it's here again... absolutely the worst decision made regarding the sequel. Please stop.
-
This nightfall is bullshit if you're gonna let people that did it early have a burn you should let everybody have a burn what were you thinking bungie done 1000 nightfalls and never had a problem like this wasted 2 hours on this thanks for tucking g up the nightfalls
