Destiny 2 criticisms. Read at your own risk.

Destiny 2 has been out long enough that I can definitely say this game is a solid 8 out of 10. The campaign feels a lot like Halo, especially the excellent vehicle sections. However, the end game could be better and instead of simply complaining I am going to explain why fixes are needed and how Bungie can make them. Crucible: 4v4 ain't working. Every match feels like trials. I recommend playing Trials instead of regular crucible because the rewards are better and increasing the pool of players might help me win a trials match. The fix here is to bring back the glory days of 6v6. And add a tank mode. Dedicated servers would also be nice. And separate PvP from PvE. Strikes: The strike playlist is not worth your time while public events and chest farming is so much more efficient. The fix here is to bring back the multiple strike bonus and strike chests. The Raid: Ugh, this is King's Fall 2.0 and King's Fall was like Kryptonite for casual players. I do appreciate that players no longer have to shoot at a wall for a every boss encounter. I do not appreciate the unforgiving death mechanics. I am not sure there is a fix for this but hopefully the raid will become more fun as players become more familiar with the mechanics. For the DLC, Bungie should look at making a Vault of Glass 2.0. Dual Primary Weapon System: It is too late to go back to the old Destiny 1 weapon system in Destiny 2. For Destiny 3, Bungie should bring back the special weapons slot. The dual primary system means I use the energy weapon to take down a shield and then spam Nameless Midnight the other 95% of the time. The fix for what we have is to increase power ammo drops and power ammo reserves. Also drop more fusion rifles because shotties and snipers aren't cutting it in PvE. The Weekly Wall: You can hit the wall on collecting luminous and powerful engrams every Tuesday. That means the rest of the week isn't much fun unless you enjoy the raid and trials. I was running patrols to pick up exotic and bright engrams when I realized that in the 8 hours I was running patrols for 3 exotics and 2 bright engrams, I could have power leveled a new Warlock and picked up another set of milestone rewards. This is how folks reached light level 300 so fast. I would rather enjoy playing the game my way. The fix here is to add more ways to collect higher light gear. Shaders: If you are like me, you are hoarding shaders until you receive end game gear at the soft level cap of 300. The current shader system is tedious, not fun, and unfortunately some shaders are tied to micro-transactions. The fix here is simple. Go back to the Destiny 1 shader system. On the subject of vanity items, where are the emblems? Fighting Lion: This applies to any crap exotics. Fighting Lion, though, is inarguably the worst exotic in the entire Destiny franchise. It is a straight up turd that you should use as infusion fuel, and its failing is a direct result of the two primary weapon system designed to balance Destiny 2's 4v4 peer-to-peer competing multi-player. The fix here is to increase grenade damage and or blast radius for PvE. No exotic should be a joke. Ok, those are all my criticism for an otherwise excellent game that solves many of Destiny 1's problems. Thank you for reading.

 • To me it seems people dont know how to use fighting lion. And thats why they think it sucks. Shoot at enemy. Switch to handcannon. 1 shot kill them. Especially with lucky pants granting quickdraw to handcannons.
