It's funny how forumites think they are the majority.

It's funny to see all of these hate posts on these forums that say "No one likes Destiny" (in more or less words) like it's a proven fact or has a poll that's completely one-sided "proving" that people don't like something about the game(s).
I just don't think forum users realize that most people don't even go near these forums. When I was playing raids with randoms, I was usually the only person out of the group that came here. Same with every other person I've met that plays Destiny.
My point is, what the forums say are not a good indication of fans' opinions of Destiny because the majority of satisfied customers don't bother with them. If it were, there wouldn't be millions of people who bought Destiny 1, and there wouldn't be tens of thousands of preorders for Destiny 2.
Inb4 the "Desticle," "Destiny fanboy," "sheep," etc. insults. Because most forum users don't like people having opinions that aren't "Destiny is trash."

I think it's just human nature. If you're angry you get vocal. If you're happy a satisfied, you ignore all the overly hostile criticism and stay mostly quiet. Probably not the most effective way to go about it, but this can be most evident in polls. Just reading the forums, you'd think the D2 Beta was the worst thing ever, but most polls regarding changes are either evenly split or actually lean towards D2. Not all of them of course. In my opinion, regardless of the tone in the posted criticism, there is value in them. That is the whole purpose of a Beta, to get feedback...even if it does seem hostile.
