It might not matter since it was a match of Mayhem Rumble, but when I went in there on my Titan to grab my Age of Triumph package for the week I noticed that practically everyone I had matchmade with was using a Palindrome. The map itself was Rusted Lands. I grabbed the Mythcolast from the vault earlier just because I figured it would be fun to use (much like in the same way I had during the Mayhem-based Iron Banner). However, in this instance I was a little skeptical that I wouldn't do too well without a ranged primary on my side. My Titan was on point the entire match. I had the first blood kill, when I shoulder charged someone closing in on me. Someone took me out when the heavy came up, but then I killed that person with my Mythoclast, even after they tried and failed to shoot a rocket at me. I think there might've been a voidwalker in there, but was rarely taken out by super kills for the most part. Mostly a bladedancer kept sticking me with grenades a number of times. I smashed and I burned people to death with the Mythcolast. I even grabbed both heavy containers at one point when I noticed no one had gotten the other heavy yet. At the end of the match I was on top with the most kills and the highest k/d. While supers may take precedence over weapon-based slaughter, not even with mainly everyone else packing Palindromes could they eliminate the one person not outfitted with a "meta" setup.
