Spawn in Ships
I feel this is an under spoken topic. Remember back in E3 of 2013 when the Warlock first spawned in and looked to the left to see a female hunter drop from her ship. That subtle little thing was greatly missed in Destiny. I understand due to Legacy Console limitations this was held back but for Destiny 2 this NEEDS to happen. I could only see it being a problem in a public space where every Guardian is dropping in. If that's the problem limit it to your Fireteam. We see our Ships in missions so it's not a rendering issue. This would be a great addition for Destiny 2 as well as immersion levels being increased immensely.

3 RepliesThe issue for that becomes spawn overlapping. Several Guardians can spawn at once, especially those in a fireteam, so ships would be crashing (or more like phasing) through each other as the animations overlap each other. That can be solved by having ships follow a few different tracks and limiting the amount of players allowed to spawn at one time. There's also that there are several different points of entry on maps, meaning that every initial spawn point in a map would need to have their own ship animations. It's a nice quality of life addition i'm sad that got cut, but its absence never particularly bothered me. [spoiler]I do like seeing my ship land in the Tower though.[/spoiler]

They "appear" to be the actual players ships & not just random ones coming in as I always see mine & I've seen friends ships come in as well.
