        • I remember about four years ago in the Nintendo forums known as "Miiverse", there was a community called "The Smash Bros Series Community". Of course, nothing that was posted in there was about Smash Bros (And I don't really blame them. It had been quite a while after the release of Brawl, so there was practically nothing SSB related left to ask about).Instead, they all just posted the most random shit they could think of, over and over again. It continued on like that for a long while. But then, something happened on a day they never thought they could hate; the day of the release of Super Smash Bros for the 3DS. As it turns out, the new SSB3DS community would actually replace the old SSB Series community. Why is that such a bad thing? Well, the old Smash community hated it for two reasons; 1) It would mean there would be a huge group of people that came and actually started posting on topic threads, And more importantly, 2) The rules in a gaming community were much stricter than those in a Series, or any other community. I don't remember the specifics, but I believe you had to have the game as suspended software to even post in the forum. Now this is where I see a resemblance to you "offtopicians", as I've seen you call yourself; knowing that their days were numbered, the old smash community set out to find a new, off topic home. About 2 days after the Smash community changed forever, the old Smash guys found it; the YouTube community. The YouTube community was perfect for their off topic asses; after all, it wasn't even possible to be off topic in YouTube. Despite YouTube being Nirvana for the old Smash guys, they quickly decided that they wanted more. They decided to "wage war" (in their own words) against the Legend of Zelda Series Community. Needless to say, the LoZ guys weren't too thrilled their once creative and slow paced community had become a breeding ground for the stale memes that the Smash community loved so much. The "Smashers" and the "Zeldians" began what they liked to call, "The Great War". The reason I think it's somewhat acceptable in their case is because they were all just kids thinking it'd be cool to be in a pew pew war. The difference with you "offtopicians" is that you're all a bunch of grown-ass men. Do you really not see how idiotic what you're trying to do here is?
