EDIT 1 : for those who don't want to click the link, it basically says destiny 2 will take place after all the events so far, which means it's not a reboot, it's a proper sequel, the main story will continue where TTK left off, with the cabal attacking the last city, and then we go fight them in space, on the terra-formed planet Saturn
