You hit the grenade button. You die. Grenade never launched.
Has this ever happened to you in Crucible?
You're one shot away from dying. In a last ditch effort, you hit the button to toss a grenade at an enemy team member. You die. The grenade never launched.
You're 100% positive with zero doubt you hit that button at least a second before you died.
Happens to me all the time and annoys the shit out of me. Kinda feels like I was cheated out of the possibility of a postmortem kill.
What causes this? Is it the reaction time of the console controller or the console itself?
Is it latency/lag on the XBox/Playstation service?
Or is it latency/lag on Bungies end?
Wondering what peoples thoughts are on this.

happens with all things including weapons, especially shotguns and snipers. often you pull the trigger of a shotgun right before you die and see the pellets hit the other guy and do no damage, and then respawn to see that it took the bullet. same with snipers, you shoot and see the bullet trail hit the other guy and their body flashes as if you hit them but, no damage and it takes your bullet. grenades and otherwise thrown projectiles, you will appear to just barely begin the throwing animation but it won't actually come out of your hand and it won't take the charge. its latency on bungies end, to put it simply
