Well a could example to counter your point is, why don't Warlocks have something like Shadestep/Twilight Garrison?
The answer is class diversity. They didn't make 3 classes for them to all be the same. Each class has its own advantages that one or both of the others don't have. The same goes for disadvantages.

Is a jump ability. A Hunter can still use double or triple jump and still Shadestep. A Titan can still have Lift and then use Twilight Garrison. Blink is not an evade.

While it is true it is a jump, it is also an evade because of the instantaneous teleportation/disappearance ability.

Yet it takes away the Glide option for Warlocks. Shadestep and Twilight Garrison do not take away Double Jump or Lift. It is classified as a jump ability and suffers the drawbacks of one; not allowing the class to have any other jump.

I wish Titans had reloader gloves that work on every weapon and a mile long melee. The classes are supposed to be different from eachother even though it can be frustrating at times. It forces one to be more strategic with the unique skills to each class.
