Now when you're done reading this you'll probably think I'm as crazy as a warlock but I assure you a warlock would not beat me in a crazy contest. Now, let's begin. The Darkness All we really know about is is that we don't know anything about other than its big and its really pissed off at the Traveler, but what if there was more to our knowledge than that? Truth is we know as must about the Traveler as we know the darkness but yet we accept the Traveler because we aren't allergic to it. The Traveler The Darkness Two very different powers One has the power to make a planet liveable and the other has the power to destroy civilizations just like ours. However what if these two powers weren't as different as we thought? What if they were one in the same or created by the same super power such as an civilization much older and much more advanced than ours? By many people the traveler is thought to be a ship or vessel for something inside but I think it's neither of those things, I firmly believe the Traveler is an extremely powerful amplifier. If the Traveler was created by a race this race would have to be extremely well versed in the ways of the light maybe even able to manipulate it themselves; one of them alone could cleanse only a bucket of water but billions on them could stitch a sky shut and give a planet an atmosphere! If their planet ever came under fire from a rival race or even began to die there wouldn't be much they could do about it on their own... BUT! ...if there was a machine powerful enough to amplify their ability to manipulate the light far beyond one millions or even billions could do they would build this machine and someone would gladly volunteer to be put in it for the sake of their planet. Here comes the down side. We know the Traveler likes to help people and once its own planet was safe and sound it abandoned them in search of other planets to save other races to give hope to. Gone without a word or even a goodbye. Of course the Travelers parent race would feel utterly betrayed by its own creation and become consumed by its own hate and resentment with the only thing on its mind being "Destroy the Traveler." In its hatred and brooding this race creates a force it believed to be far more powerful than the Traveler or even the light it called and ally: The Darkness. They ordered the Darkness to hunt down the Traveler and extinguish its light... HOWEVER! ...Absolute in its purpose the darkness begins to extinguish all light, starting with its creators and once that was done began hunting down its primary target: The Traveler. There would come times where the Darkness thought its mission would soon be complete but the Traveler would vanish again leaving a trail of light, healed planets, and scorned races in its wake. Until one day...Earth. Again this is just a theory it probably ISBN what happened but until we find out what did happen this is what I'm going with. Thanks for reading
