Now that Trump is in office, can Off topic do me a small favor?
And stop being such smug winners and sore losers and get back on track about the real issues? Too many times here liberals just personally attack Trump himself and resort to "liberal tears" and petty insults and not create an actual argument. And when someone does make a fair argument and keeps their chill, some conservatives on here dismiss it as "liberal tears" anyway, which is also a total cop out from any real political debate. Good god, personally attacking the other group in such pettiness is all that goes on on this damn site anymore.
Edit: what I mean by real issues is actual politics such as what Trump intends to do. Not the "lol -blam!- liberals" that make up 70% of this entire forum nowadays and the "-blam!- conservatives" posts that make up the other 25% of this website. You guys despise the other group, we get it. Now can we get back to the actual policies that divide us in the first place?

I just want to echo what someone else has said and add to it a bit. Most of the people on here cannot vote and, developmentally speaking, their brains aren't fully developed and arguing with them, in some ways, is what they need to sharpen their logic and reasoning skills but it gets old quickly. That may be why you are "over" the people bashing even the most sound argument as "libby tears" or making pointless straw man arguments because the person arguing with you is 9 years old and can't actually argue correctly. That's why I stopped debating anyone on here because it is few and far between that I am engaged in an actual [i]debate[/i] and more often stuck in a monotone monologue from someone unable to craft and express their own opinion. Or it's a troll, which that's a whole other issue curbing any real conversation as well and that can be someone at any age. To the young lads on here, all of us older guys and gals can respect that you need to cut teeth on something, to help sharpen your wits, but it won't be with me. Well, and probably not with the OP, but that's okay because there are plenty of people on here that want to endlessly argue for no reason. Just remember, your wits don't get sharper when you argue with halfwits. My 2 cents. Cheers

I honestly doubt it will happen. #Offtopic's mentality as far as I've ever seen is mostly, "My opinion is right, yours is wrong, [something derogatory]." Anything with their party will be ignored by anyone except for members of the opposing party, with any exceptions being a needle in a haystack.
