So I've noticed......

There are a lot of ideas regarding loot in this game. As it is a primarily loot based game there needs to be a bit of randomness to the loot itself. I'm going to touch on a couple points below and I'd like to hear what you have to say about it. Specific loot tables This is a big issue with destiny. There are very few special loot tables. Nearly any legendary can come from a legendary engram which can be dropped from source. In Y1 we saw loot caves and other such methods for farming legendary items. This was frowned upon and patched. Now there are many special loot tables but a simpler model would be for the mobs to drop the item itself instead of an engram. Low tier (red bar) mobs drop green/blue with low chance of legendary and no exotic chance. Mid tier (yellow bar) drop blue with moderate chance of legendary and low chance of exotic. High tier (skull bar) drop blue with good chance of legendary and low exotic chance. Each race (vex, cabal, etc.) Have unique loot tables and drop differnt kinds of gear. This way you can chase specific gear easier. Chests should be more sparse, have higher chance of gear and, depending on how hard a chest is to open/get to, have better rewards. Guaranteed rewards This is something I see thrown around. People want guaranteed rewards with no RNG. This would make the game stale even quicker. Yes, I would like that crux on my first HM crota run, but then why should I run crota ever again. Raids already give up guaranteed loot from a limited table. This is a good system, and I'd like to see it continue. Exotics shouldn't be excluded from this but if they are obtained in a specific way, there should be actual effort put into the steps leading up to obtaining the weapon. Rerolling loot This is a big one, and my final topic. Y1 Rerolling was broken. Period. There is however a far less broken form of rerolling which exists in the current game. Armsday orders. These are unusable items that take up player inventory until turned in. This system of once a week could be used for Rerolling and it wouldn't break the game or PvP. (Which since most PvE left, is really all that's left holding destiny up.)
