The Thorn and Ice Breaker missions...
I love that these guns are becoming available, but I dislike the RNG to get the mission. I would much rather have the mission drop more commonly, but have a harder mission to get it.
Instead of making us do Night Falls to get the mission, why not give us the mission and do something like, "Do a Night Fall on X unique maps", so we might have to do 3-5 weeks of night falls to get all the required maps. Then we feel like we are working toward something instead of working toward the chance at something.

1 ReplyI totally get where you're coming from, but personally I like the excitement of not knowing when I'll get it. And when I finally do get it it's a great feeling because it's a surprise. This game is about getting loot, that's the goal, to get better gear than you had before, and back in year 1, getting that loot felt great because you grinder for it and you finally got it, plus it was exiting because you didn't know when you were getting it.

1 ReplyI like how it's a random drop actually. I haven't gotten it to drop (yet) (praises RNGzuz) and I also enjoy the anticipation. Like another fella wrote it is the excitement of not knowing when it will drop which makes for a better surprise. I liked how they integrated certain daily missions with secret areas and bosses to get exotic quests such as No Time To Explain and the Black Spindle. I hope that they bring that back with this new Iron Lord expansion.

What's the difference between waiting six weeks to do a different map and doing three sunrise bounties for six weeks waiting for it to drop......heck chances are you'll get it before six weeks lol

11 RepliesOne problem I see with this is those players who are Billy no mates won't get it. Unless they make Nightfall matchmaking, (what it should be) otherwise the only way is attempting a solo run.
