If I'm playing Control my priority will always be keeping the other team off my teams two objectives. I'll usually finish with 1 or 2 caps and many defense kills. Because if you're going after all the shiny, you're doing it wrong. Also, you get more points, helping the team out more that way. Zone Control is another story entirely, the whole game is the objective; I usually float about the zones and cap when I have support. Rift I usually play back to keep guys off my runner.
