Has anyone else used this gun in crucible since RoI started?
It's slower than Clever Dragon, but higher impact and honestly I was surprised. I took a bunch of my Y2 weapons out of my vault and infused them to 365lvl on a whim.
I've only managed to try out Nirwen's Mercy and dude, let me tell you, it has a very good kill time. It took me no time to get use to it after I maining CD, and yeah sure, you feel how much slower it shoots, but you also see the results of that higher impact.
It has a comparable ttk to CD but I felt is range was worse off.
Anyways, thoughts, opinions, am I just out of my gourd?
lol who am I kidding I'm always out of my gourd
Edited by Swiftlock: 10/31/2016 11:58:48 PMYes. There's quite a bit of people who still use this gun today. Yes. Most players seem to be aware that it's a solid PR but isn't as consistent as a god-rolled Grasp/Clever Dragon. You're not out of your gourd. You're just behind the times.

Nerfed, now it's a vault artifact.

Nirwen's Mercy== Hopscotch Pilgrim. Its a VERY good weapon. In fact it dominated mid-range combat this time last year until it got nerfed sideways. Its a solid weapon today...but will get consistently outgunned by the faster rate of fire pulse-rifles like Hawksaw and Grasp of Malok...and even sum fast firing Scout Rifles. But I got several good versions of NM, as well as a solid roll of HP that I got as a Crucible drop. I plan on holding onto them. They are just one weapon-rebalancing away from being top tier weapons again.

Edited by InfinityDrags: 10/31/2016 7:13:20 PMI still have the amzazing vendor roll nirwen's mercy from a few IB's ago. It's one of my favourite weapons in both pvp and pve.

I still have my Nirwens with counter balance and feeding frenzy. It's a solid pulse rifle
