Questions for Bungie regarding Destiny 2 and player gear: Will we be able to carry stuff over?

We've spent 2 years thus far (and are about to spend another) collecting armor, weapons, artifacts, grimoire entries, and the like. It'd be a devastating blow to the community if we weren't allowed to carry this stuff over. I am writing this to try and gain a better understanding of what needs to be done to make this happen, and to get more of an idea as to the chances of you actually doing this. I'm also not just talking about weapons and armor, I'm talking about class items, artifacts, ghost shells, sparrows, jumpships, emotes, shaders, emblems, reputation, exotic blueprints, and even our Subclass progress (that **** took a long time to level up, so I had to include it). So please, I want to know: 1) What would have to be done to allow players to carry all their old weapons, armor, emblems, and the like over to Destiny 2. What kinds of things would need to be done on your end to accommodate a feature like this? 2) Whether or not Bungie considers it feasible to do (and the chances of this opinion changing as time goes on). 3) If, assuming it is feasible, it's something Bungie wants to do, and how much the opinions of the community would affect this. 4) If only certain gear will be transferable, will we be told which gear we can take, why the other stuff can't, and will the community's opinion affect this also? So please, if you could provide answers to these questions, I would be very grateful.

  • That is a great question, but don't get your hopes up. Bungie is king at taking away what you grinded for and turning around to sell it back to you. Honestly, destiny 2 should not even be released anytime soon because they currently can't handle the current destiny. The just sold a -blam!-in social space and a patrol with repeat quests for 30 dollars. Add the total since year 1 and think what everyone spent up to now. They know how to piss off the fans and destroy the game pretty fast and gloat for who knows what for. The shareholders are gonna be pissed too when nobody buys anymore content. I'm sure bungie has hit the 3 strikes rule by now, and the are out.
