This is bungie problem and no one elses..certainly not ours and not the damn Nat acceleration bullshit..no other game I own has this problem

The game depends on port forwarding to work properly...whether that is via UPnP or manually setting forwarding rules. As should be noted in your router's documentation, some of the NAT or hardware acceleration tweaks can negatively impact reliability of functions lime port forwarding and QoS. So it is a very valid suggestion to turn such features off. Otherwise, it has been demonstrated that some hardware appears to be failing because they are using IGD for managing UPnP...getting the router to use SSDP instead seemed to fix it. If this cannot be changed directly in the router's config it may change with a firmware update. My Asus appears to be using SSDP with their latest firmware. Alternatively an open source firmware may be applied if supported (tomato, merlin, dd-wrt, etc.). This should be covered in the router's documentation.

And I say again...I have no problem with any other game

Because those games not only have looser requirements but are also hosted differently. There are tons more people with no issues because they are meeting those requirements specific to this game.

I play games with my son without a problem...BO3,seven days to die,gta 5,minecraft,bf4,warframe..yet we can't play deatiny together and bungie says it's my fault..bullshit. .my router doesn't have nat acceleration and I refuse to go out and pay hundreds of dollars to play with my kid when this shouldn't even be an issue

As has already been pointed out in various threads "NAT Acceleration" is the term Asus started using. Hardware Acceleration is a term others may use. These are flags that actually cover different approaches to reducing load on the router and reducing some delays in processing. Some may reference the actual processes more directly like Cut-Through Forwarding (CTF) or Flow Acceleration. These are optimization tweaks that should be covered in your router's documentation, and it likely also points out that these feature may negatively impact the reliability of port forwarding or QoS. One can actually outright override your QoS settings.
