I played it until I got three in early '09 (I didn't get a 360 until late '08, or I would have gotten it sooner.) Than I almost forgot about it. But I still had a few nostalgia sessions every couple of months. Played it the last day it was up. It actually turned out to be a few of the best games I had on Halo 2.

Once my day of Halo 2 had ended...I realized that my kills, assists and games played were all divisible by seven. Yay me! That probably counts for nothing, but I think it's cool.

I did not have a live account during the height of Halo 2's golden days, but I did have some amazing times with the campaign, and playing eight man juggernaut with friends. My highest rank was a six, because no one was ever on.

I never played Halo 2 online....but it was one of my all-time favorite games and it is sad to see it leave

My first Halo 2 game was with 2 of my buddies and I left hating Halo 2 and all it stood for, My friends made fun of me and called me a noob for weeks as I struggled to play it each evening after they had been already been playing for months. That was it, I went out and bought an XBOX, a copy of Halo 2 and a membership to LIVE. I spent the next 3 years playing every spare moment I had. The last time I played with those same buddies, was about a year after I purchased my bundle. We linked our XBOX consoles and played with 8 people, after about 6 games, everyone was tired of me rolling over them and all refused to play with me after that. Now don't get me wrong, online I was only an average player, but to beat the -blam- talkers down so bad that they quit was a sweet taste in my mouth. I will miss Halo 2 like a lost brother, it kept me up many sleepless nights and makes me compare every new shooter game with it. In my mind, no game will ever measure up.

Bungie, you need to bring back the Halo 2 multiplayer. I mean it made Xbox Live what it is today. Your friends list system is what the Xbox Live's friends list is based off of now. Halo 2 was the perfect FPS. The only one I could stay up for 2 days straight on. Everyone loved Halo 2 and if you didn't you were a sports only fan. I still remember going over my friends house early in the morning and his mom made us breakfest and lunch as we played Halo 2 then went outside and acted like Spartans fighting Elites. Halo 2 is part of my life I got it when I was 9 and it was the only game I played. I beat Halo:CE, but that was only when I wasn't on Halo 2. So it sparked my gaming and many others. So you need to make it a new Arcade Game. Many people would love it, because no one missed it until it was gone.

Bungie you should bring it back onto the xbox live arcade and sell it for about 20 bucks, with all the maps and some more and revive halo 2 again
