Sometimes ya win, sometimes ya lose. Sometimes you're on top, sometimes not so much.
I was looking through my medals and stumbled across two that I would think to be well known medals in the community.
[The Best...Around] -Top finish on winning team
-and-
[On The Bright Side...] -Top overall finish even if on losing team
I'm curious to how everyone stacks up when it comes to these medals. My KD is garbage, but I do enjoy crucible. I enjoy kicking back, having a few beers and hearing Lord Shaxx yelling and calling me a scrub lord. (I only sweat when it's hot outside.) 👌
So, Destiny community, what kind of medals do you strive for and why? Which medals are the most enjoyable to you guys? Let's grab a bite to eat and have a discussion. (I have enough glimmer to take you anywhere you'd like to go in The Milky Way.)

Medals I like to strive for? -Space Magic -Breaker/Reaper -Victory -Strength of the Wolf -No Mercy Basically I'm just playing to win. I'm not some God-tier PvP player who's trying to collect multi-snipe captures or go on mad killing sprees. I play Iron Banner mostly, with some Trials if I can get my team together. I like 6v6 game modes most. Space Magic and Breaker/Reaper medals are my absolute FAVORITES. Typically, I throw Hail Mary Nova Bombs over walls, buildings, etc from across the map to try and buy my team some time to get over to the enemy Heavy. If I'm lucky, I can wipe 4+ players. And yes, I dance afterwards. Sorry, not sorry. I can only imagine the looks on their faces when they get bombed out of nowhere, and then the camera pans over to me on the other side of the building. 😁 Strength of the Wolf and No Mercy are harder to get anymore because half the time, I'm on a team of thumbless lemmings who are hell bent on soaking up as many bullets as possible. When I DO get them though, feels good. Means the whole team is on point, and that allows me to do my part as a more supportive player. Medals I get too many of: -Unsung Hero (712) -Overwatch (814) -Avenger (998) Because I play a predominantly supportive style, I get a ton of the above by team-shooting the enemy. Many times, I'll end a game with a .75 k/d but have 15+ assists. But I don't mind. I know I'm not the best player on the team, so I do what I can to help out the guys that are really lighting it up.

You get medals for playing crucible? Hot damn!
-
I'm most proud of my clutch medal
-
I hate getting on the bright side. I feel it's a pitty medal. You couldn't carry any better?
-
I don't know but I have over 100 "best around" medals just on my hunter.
-
I don't like "On the Bright Side..." because it means regardless of the fact I put in the most work of anyone in the match my team objectively brought me down.
