I remember getting ascendant shards. So the loot wasn't always so great...
However, they need to have deprecate difficulties or something. What we have now is so easy... No wonder we get a 305 ghost from it.
Nightfall should be end game stuff. Make it retardedly difficult Bungie! We might complain, but it will be better than this.

It's the health, the super and the melee regen. It's a complete BS artificial way to amp up the difficulty.
