I like UR. Someone else made a good point that you will lose some battles because you're giving up a primary, but ultimately i feel like it helps me be more conscious of my movement and position when shotgunning in general. If you aren't in a situation to charge in for the kill, you'll have to work for it. Pairing with a sniper is a good idea.

Guess that when you run Uni-Mote and you're getting the best results when paired with a sniper... it's a sign from above that snipers are SUPPOSED to move after getting the kill. Otherwise, that person you just sniped is going to come for you however they can... which leads to the snipers calling shotgunners out for "no skill"... when it's actually they're fault for: A. not moving from their area after giving away position and B. keeping their eyes glued to the scope instead of the radar. Anyway, I agree with your view. I find myself being a lot more strategic on the go and thinking of map layout when I main a shotgun.
