Just bought it myself. Actually, I rented it first, and wow. Had to get it ASAP. Honestly don't understand some of the criticism Id heard about it. Doom freakin rocks. Right off the bat I was fascinated by what was going on story-wise and was hooked on the gameplay. It is slick and fast as hell (pun intended). The graphics are fantastic, the atmosphere is awesome, the sounds/music is cool, and the combat is such a rush lol
