PC people of offtopic, help me. [Kind of solved. I guess]

"Is my family members computer irreparably screwed?" I'm currently attempting to get the specs of the computer, but unfortunately, I myself don't know it because I didn't buy it and can't access the PC. When I get a hold of specs I'll update this post. BACK TO THE ISSUE
Friday, May 27th 2016 -She tells me that the computer is now "scanning and repairing the C drive." It's been on 9% for a day now. She grew impatient and I figured "last time it got stuck on something like this, I just reset my computer" I held the power button down which shut it off. Upon turning it on again all I got was the "Asus: In search of incredible" logo, and a loading symbol. It said "press any key to skip checking" It took me to a blue screen after a minute. "Error code 0xc0000185" That notes that a device isn't connected or attached. I shut off the computer for the night and came back to it this morning Saturday May 28th 2016 Upon coming back, the same errors were found. I unplugged a small USB for a wireless mouse AAAAAAND...I stopped getting the device error. Because instead it booted me to several blue screens and looped repeatedly in the check. It let me log in at one point, but the screen cut to black before shutting off entirely. I was given a predicament. I couldn't boot into safe mode, and I couldn't get to the "reset PC" area. I used my USB to boot windows 10 onto the PC. Here's where shit -blam!-ed up: I couldn't reset the computer. There was an error when I tried. I reinstalled windows 10 to the partition marked OS, which only threw me back into the loop of "check drive". It brought me back to my blue screen and I got two different error codes now. 0xc000021a 0xc000001 the PC is now "resetting" again. But it's at 1%.
Specs I can identify for you Model:ASUS X555La OS: Windows 10. CPU:(sticker on the front says "Intel inside Core i7. But detailed CPU details coming, maybe.) If this doesn't work, is this computer FUBAR? I'd Google solutions myself but the heat where I am (I'm genuinely convinced it's the heat) is -blam!-ing up everything in my house from TV signals to home phone reception. UPDATE: As I write this the computer failed the reset. ----------------- Verdict it seems some friends, and you guys have concluded that the drive itself is pretty much screwed. I don't know what may have caused it, considering the computer was new, but as someone said, I probably -blam!-ed up the drive when I shut it down during that scan thing. Or maybe I did a thing with the OS reinstall attempt that only dug me into a deeper hole... Or hell maybe it fell on accident and knocked something loose. That's how my friends MacBook died. Probably one of those. We're getting the drive replaced sometime soon. Thanks for all your help guys :)
