It was a dark and cloudy night in the small American hamlet I call home. To combat the boredom I opted to partake of a few rounds of combat with my entrusted compatriot. We embarked on a search of taken foes in the wilds of a once tamed Ishtar Commons on the console of Xbox One. As the battle enraged and the enemy numbers began to grow things began to get weird. I'm not talking alien collective weird, but twilight zone weird , all of a sudden there are no enemies to be seen but they still appear on the mini-map. Suddenly, all of my fellow guardians, including my fireteam mate, disappeared from the screen. At this point I knew something was afoot. As I was contemplating being alone in the strange silent wilderness of Venus I found myself in a cold dark void (lost connection with the server). I thought to my self that this was certainly it, I had been "Taken." I was going to be shot by the very friends I was just fighting along side of. Upon my emergence from the frigid darkness I called home for a few short moments, I was relieved to find that I had not been taken, and had indeed retained my previous form. Upon further inspection of my being I had found that whatever had caused such a darkness to befall me had robbed me of all of my special and heavy ammo, both of which had been full to capacity prior to the abnormal blindness. What strange beast may have relieved me of the ammunition that I held so dear? Does anyone know what may have happened or how it may be prevented in the future? Has this happened to any of you?
