bolt caster easy farming
So I'm working on my bolt caster quest and I'm at the part where I have to get arc ability kills and the item you sometimes get from spinmetal on earth, I have the spinmetal part down okay, but I don't know any good farming methods for arc ability kills, anyone got any good ideas besides strikes and patrol?

3 RepliesYou can use stormcaller super in a mission or strike. Omnigul one has loads of enemies.

I did this rather quickly on the dark beyond mission, with zhalo supercell. Did it in two stages at the we've woken the hive part. Stage one stand at the door and kill all the thrall until you're super is full. You won't have to reload as long as you keep killing. When you're super is full wipe. Then use your super this time against all the thrall, once it's gone wipe and repeat. Just remember not to kill the yellow health Knight.

If you have a fully leveled up Zhalo Supercell, go to the Dreadnaught and wait for enemy forces to move against each other. Go left and forward from spawn. Hive enemies literally pour out of a little doorway beneath the crash site. Stand outside the door, and pour bullets into the hive as they spawn. Your super will be charged in 5 seconds, guaranteed. Activate super, sit back, and watch that kill count rise.

The mission where Ghost says "We've woken the hive". Kill everything except the Knights, die, repeat.

First room omnigul the door that spawns thrall use super and scatter grenades be sure your arc blade R2/RT attack is set on the wave and aim your shots to kill multiple thrall, let them bunch up.

Enable transcendence and run around the Dreadnaught. Melee, grenade, over and over. Mausoleum has a bunch of low level that constantly spawn and can be easily taken out with grenades and melee.

I just equipped stormcaller with all the perks to recharge abilities (perpetual charge + feedback) and Monte carlo to keep my abilities up as often as possible and just killed stuff while I farmed for the spinmetal things. I finished it before I got the 10 zephtocyte cores

1 ReplyOmnigul, the dark beyond (last part of mission. Open the door kill all the enemies but not the knight), dying mind strike, new malok strike. There's plenty of farming areas you just gotta explore and find the right ones

1 ReplyBladedancer with mask of the third man, encore, and showstopper. Find an event where enemies fight each other during a patrol and enemies will endlessly spawn in certain points like in caves etc. Just spam the button for showstopper when they spawn, and encore will restore your super for each kill. It never ends until the enemies retreat. Got it done in 5 minutes

Use storm caller, If you have the perk where you get a melee kill gives you a nade charge and vice versa, do regular omnigul a few times and it'll be done, full intellect will help too

Arc weapons don't count must be abilities. Not sure on Locks but some melees don't count. Super and nades are the main. I like the Skywatch area on Cosmodrome. On the way to the top floor there are a decent group of enemies and in the yard area when the enemies fight each other you can super and rack up a bunch. Easier with a team mate so you can feed each other orbs.

1 ReplyGo to Crotas end in the abyss and bring a zhalo and run stormcaller with transcendence and the perk that recharges grenade with a melee kill etc. got it done in 10 minutes.

6 RepliesGo to the warmind mission in the cosmodrome. There is a room right before you meet omnigul for the first time. Good for 45 kills. Jump off the bridge and wipe, don't go into the room after you kill the yellow knight.

I did arc Titan and farmed the spin metal and kills at the same time running circles in I think it's skywatch where urzok the hated spawns there is a lot of spin metal that spawns and a lot of enemies that spawn constantly just equip a spin metal ghost and run around in circles took me a total of maybe an hour and a half

1 ReplyEdited by duzton: 4/24/2016 10:49:54 PMPut on the perk on a stormcaller that grenade kills recharge melee and melee kills recharge the grenade. Load up the siege of the warmind mission get to the part where a bunch of thrall keep running at you before the yellow knight. Get a grenade kill, then a melee, once all of the thrall are dead jump off the ledge and repeat. I used this method and finished in about 10-15 mins.

The ability kills will take far less time than the material farming.

Siege of the war mind on earth. Don't beat it though. Kill yourself before you kill the yellow bar knight at the top of the stairs.
