People need to stop using the "I have like *insert number here* saved up". Does not matter. This doesn't effect you in any way then. Let people get their exotic shards from Xur. And, people should stop mentioning the idea of getting two shards by going into your blueprint. That's too much glimmer and motes being wasted on. Plus, if your RNG is shit, it's hard to get duplicate exotics nowadays.

Since you only need one, why waste anything? Infusion is one to one now. If you waste your time going halfway that's your problem. Get it to 330 and done after that light level advantages are marginal at best. Bungie can't make it huge since they would really be shitting on unlucky players.

I only have one exotic shard(I think) and mostly that was prior to the April Update. I actually 8 before the Taken King(mostly because I hardly ever got exotics since I never had any dlc prior.). I ended up using them to upgrade a few and infuse a few exotics and dismantle my old ones. I
