if we buff shotguns what would change? snipers still would have majority vote despite changes, the current issues is the risk VS. reward on snipers. the risk on shotguns is running into armed enemies to kill them at a risk of being killed themselves high risk = high reward the risk to snipers is??? not very much really...... low risk = high reward???? not balanced there is little to no pressure when sniping under fire currently, when a shot gunner is rushing a sniper down all they need to do is body shot and pull out a primary......

If they buff the shotgun it would be easier for everyone else to use And their is a thing called tactics and flanking a hard scope is what you should do instead of run down their aim of sight

what i'm trying to say flanking exists but without a direct path to flank on most maps flanking is not really a good option in destiny. very few maps give an option to flank as its relatively easy to cover multiple paths with a sniper, all buffing shotguns would do is bring them back one step before they were nerfed which in this meta wouldn't do much since the lord of wolves and the universal remote already reach these levels but don't really excel in crucible currently. no hate on shotguns but the way they are now is pretty balanced even some fusions but snipers have the least drawback of them all
