Prison of Exiles (RP - RoB)

- An interlude for RoB and other realms, loosely tied to Warhammer 40k and several other themes. Hurtling through the aether, between the currents of space and time, soars a mighty vessel of steel and flesh, a starship of vast size and unimaginable power - The Bloodwrath. This is an ancient ship of legends, with a lengthy history that has appeared throughout time over tens of thousands of centuries. It has sailed through the warp, a gateway between stars and galaxies that does not abide by the laws of physics, and is inhabited by entities of unspeakable horror including gods of madness and chaos. The inhabitants of the ship are champions from many realms. With no memory of their arrival, they are bound together for a common cause - a cause that not even they can fathom. These are the stories of these exiles. Welcome to Prison of Exiles. For New Arrivals:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/126649858/0/0
Biographies:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/123300498/0/0
Bloodwrath Information:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/153882861/0/0
Link to RoB reference:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/120286322/0/0
- The Bloodwrath will now be your home, but tread lightly, for this starship has a taste for blood, and a hunger for the souls of men to fuel it's fires of war. Consider this a warning, venturing into quarantined and off limits areas could lead to an unpleasant demise. The things that dwell in the dark are beyond you, and more insidious than you could imagine. Current Happenings: - Your memories are blank as to your arrival, but there seems to be hope. Many are reporting visions brought on by depictions of an hourglass... Perhaps searching for banners, relics, books, or other items related to the hourglass could unlock the mystery of your arrival. The Rivers of Blood continue to flow.

Nation Without A Home | The Bloodwrath's Streets, JT, 1200 hours. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "It all starts with one man, a lone fighter in the midst of the Imperium's uncontrolled worlds." The statement was announced in the centre of the street. The flow of traffic from Imperium civilians were all continuing on their way, but a few men managed to stand in their spots. Every last onlooker that would approach was a civilian of course, but that was who the speech was targeted for. "A warrior, a killer, one who hunted the Chaos like they were deer, and this man was the ultimate huntsman. Why did he do it? Who was he? Who was this man with?" The speech wasn't coming from my mouth, rather from beneath the helmet of another. The helm was a pitch black shade, much like the armour he bore underneath his newest uniform. The uniform was in fact his armour, but it was painted strangely. The torso and legs were both a light shade of grey, while his arms weren't that colour at all, instead they were green. And in a moment, his helm would become the same forest shade as if it was taking a new colour. "Now, this man was not with any - He was foreign to these lands, and so he did not fit with the Imperium, due to him being a stranger to humanity. He was not of the Chaos, for he would have more honour than to hunt his undivided brethren." The man that spoke was amassing a truly grand crowd now. People of the Imperium decided to listen in, and many were confused as to where this preaching would go from here. The man that spoke was a Mexican, which was hinted at by his Latino accent. Vasquez was his name. "And you know what? He was with someone. Himself. For he was a warrior, displaced person in the galaxy that was forever at war. He had no home, no family to go to, no brothers or sisters to aid him." The statement had made people crawl out of the woodworks, and those who were considered freaks and outcasts in society listened in. They seemed to be the ones that enjoyed this speech the most, as they connected to what the strange person was saying. "But this was not in vain, for that man sparked something grand. My name is Captain Vasquez, and I was a man who heard that tale so long ago. I met this man... And he changed it all!" Suddenly, all eyes shifted to me. Vasquez' words conveyed an intensity that would make him seem bold and powerful, which only enticed the crowd more by him. "This man is JT, a mercenary for hire. He runs a company, the Nation Without a Home - The same thing that aims to combat soldiers of Chaos, and give homes and families to those who are outcasts of all societies." "So I ask you, people of the Bloodwrath? Are you going to sit idly by and allow more soldiers to die like dogs, alone in their ventures? Or are you going to take up arms and fight as one family, one who will take down the Chaos on its own?!" When he spoke, their was a single wave of "No!" That swiftly moved across the sea of watchers. Some left the scene, but a good three hundred people remained here to hear out the speech. "If you are willing to help your new family, come to the General Quarters at four sharp. You will be joining the private force, but you will be taking on the Chaos, and fighting alongside your new brothers and sisters... Your new family." And at that, Vasquez and I left the area. General Quarters (Outskirts), 1600 Hours. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////// It was set. Hundreds of recruits - three hundred and two to be exact - had come out to join us. We were the outcasts of the Imperium's society, we were the Xeno's that the very Imperium wished to purge, and yet we fought against the Chaos, and for humanity.
Open if you're looking to join up, otherwise closed.
It has been a strange past few days, ranging from the awful creature that appeared out of nowhere, to the appearance of another chapter of Space Marines. Why, it was getting hard to make sense of everything.. "I need a break.... Just relax on a resort world for a few weeks and get away from this hell.... What the hell am I doing? Ling was sitting down on a line of chairs in the warehouse Hangar thingy the Imperium has, they acted like some crude bed a pillow propped up behind his head. Chloanne was sitting on a chair, legs crossed. They stared at each other, looking at their differences. Ling having more muscle mass upon him and a well trimmed goatee. Chloanne with her red streak in her hair, slightly curvy. Ling sighed and spoke, breaking the calm silence. "Have I told you about Farion, Chloanne? "No you haven't Ling, is something wrong?" He averted his eyes to the ceiling, trying to recall something...Chloanne stared at Ling, with slight worry in her face. What was her brother going to tell her? "You see Chloanne, when we parted ways Farion took me in as an Acolyte after I demonstrated an act of bravery, though I do not recall what it was. It was rather brutal for me, he constantly broke my bones if I slipped up...I think it was meant as a tool. His favorite bone to break was my ring finger, possibly as a sign." He said, lifting up his left hand staring at the ring finger. "I did not know this Ling..why are you telling me?" Chloanne responded, pity in her eyes. "Perhaps I could die very soon..perhaps I can live a full life. I think Farion was warning me indirectly, possibly marriage. Possibly I will die, never bonded in matrimony. This has persisted in my mind for a long while." "Why not tell Macha?" She said, confused. "Because I do not want to worry her anymore than now. She already has to deal with the fact I can die any second or that something worse will happen." Ling lowered his hand and sighed, closing his eyes. "I don't think we're getting off this ship." "Why is that? I'm sure there's some way, we just have to find it!" She said, trying to brighten the mood. "It's a hunch, I mean like we have intelligent species all around the ship and yet nothing found a way to exit." "Don't say that Ling, we'll get off eventually." "Eventually. The question is, how long is eventually?"
Closed, I don't feel like replying to alot of people...
• The black coat of the night. Night time, on board the bloodwrath. An unsuspecting group of chaos legionaires wish to make a quick kidnapping, murdering and stealing run on the inhabitants of the ship's safe zone. They band, their numbers many, their strategy is sound. The midnight hour strikes. It is time to attack. Seeping into the streets like a stealthy mist, they assault a city block, where security was loose. They enter one building. They kidnap the women in the middle of the night, to perform who knows upon them... the men who do not disturb them, they leave. But those who take them in surprise are taken as well. Always have room for more ranks. Their first wave is successful, they return to their dark conduits to prepare for the second wave. But, to their ignorance, they were being stalked... They return to their desecrated monuments to prepare the ritual. Until... One marine, standing next to one of the monuments, turns to find three melta bombs attached to it. Before he can even scream out, the bombs ignite, taking the structure, the marine and everyone around them in a glorious blaze. They were under attack. Suddenly, strange, never before seen marines reveal themselves. They surround the camp. Armed with strange weapons, from Plasma cannons to strange ionic weaponry, they ignite the camp in a quick, decisive skirmish. With precise destruction, they leave the enemy camp in ruins. But none of the kidnapped men and women suffer any injuries. These mysterious marines free the captives, untying their bonds and escorting them back to their homes, on the eastern side of the Quarters. But before the last marine leaves, a woman asks, who are those warriors? And they respond. "We are the Imperial Panthers, guardians of humanity." An exotic hispanic accent laces the words of the man in armour, who then leaves. The Imperial Panthers make their camp on the grounds of the Eastern block of the Quarters. Their arrival was, at first, unnoticed, until their numbers had begun roaming the rest of the ship. But wherever they would strike... they would be unseen, until the very last moment, where the dying adversary could see who were the angels of death. The Panthers had made their presence known to the bloodwrath. It was both a blessing to the Imperium, and a curse to their enemies.
Open. Visit the camp for yourself, check them out.
• In the bowels of the Bloodwrath, a violet purple portal opens near the ground. From the swirling portal came a massive, metal door, foot, along with a part of a robotic, metal keg. Then, a hulking figure steps through with a loud, heavy clank as its metal feet hit the metal ground. It was a mech, and it stood at fifteen feet tall. Its right arm was more of a massive gun, or well, two guns; a fizzling plasma cannon, and a chaingun. Its left arm was unarmed, though it did have a robotic hand, currently clenched into a fist. The mech's head looks around the room they ended up in, and started walking off into a faintly lit hallway, though the mech's pilot didn't mind the lighting; he had been in darker areas, after all. The mech didn't run into anyone, or anything. It was kinda boring, really; and the pilot thought so too, as was evident by a bored, metallic sigh, and a male voice speaking through the mech's speakers, "Kinda boring so far... Had hoped for something to happen. Eh, spooky hallways are interesting enough, I guess.. Not as fun as seeing a completely new foe though..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ General Quarters | 12:34PM After a long, uneventful, and plain boring walk, the mech steps around the corner, getting a face full of bright light, and the view of a camp, further ahead. The mech speeds up, its loud steps thundering through the hallway, echoing off the walls as he hurries over. Then, he leaps through the doorway, landing on the outer edges of the General Quarters. Then, he just.. Stopped. Stood still. Watched. Waited, for what? Who knows..
Mute. And anyone who seriously, really badly wants to reply.
The whole area was guarded by the chapter members, and at their head was the leader, Katherine Borshe The Hounds where more for espionage and guerrilla warfare, fewer in numbers since they where recently formed. Only thing is though, they had been the ones so far to actually go deeper into the Bloodwrath to shut down and destroy the portals that have been opening up. Thanks to Noirtram and his antics, the Khorne where eager as ever to face the new legion in combat, while Nurgle only watched and Tzneetch planned it all out... ============================= "Trade cache 10745, you can enter" The few simple words, the main ones spoken, which allowed access to the Hound's compound, as an Imperium shipping crate entered on a drone The two camps had setup a trade relation, the Hounds offered to help it as best they can, while the Imperium kept them stocked on supplies until they could really get going The compound was still small, but s greenhouse and several other food areas had been setup, along with a warehouse for armor and weapon repairs. The barracks off to the side and the main center of the area was used for training Marines ran all about, ranging from a male or female scout or messenger, soldier and such forth, to a mighty Hound, a smaller yet more lethal Space Marine with a very specific genome in mind Kat entered the base, the Marines saluting as she walked by, back over to the main building, the Pens as they where nicknamed, where all the higher ups resided...
Open Not much to do, but feel free to interact if you want
She looked over at his personal things. He had always... Been so private. What was he hiding over there in his- No. That wasn't her stuff to dig through. She stated firmly in her mind. After he seemed to sleep in, he woke up to find his winged cat thing Mion resting on his back* Mion, you awake? *The cat opens it's eyes and yawns quietly, as cats do* Now I am... Can you get off? Aww, I'm comfy. Fine then... *Mortar dissolved into his bed and reformed next to it. Mion definitely was unpleased, he got his cushion removed from under him, so he got up and stretched for what seemed like an eternity* Why did you do that? I'm excited, I feel as if something is gonna happen, something more... interesting. Until then, I'm gonna see if I can break my personal best of creatures killed. Hopefully I'm not on that list Come on, you're my companion. I may be part demon but I'm not a monster. *Mortar let out a long yawn, then put on his sash, the many knives glimmering in the light, and placed his hand between his shoulder blades. When he did that, his sword began to form. It was unique, I'll tell you that. It was a four and a half foot dark blue katana/broadsword mix, made of some unique alloy. When fully formed, it ignited in emerald green flames* Alright, I don't know about you Mion, but I'm feeling lucky. *And with that, Mortar left his room, ready for almost anything.*
Open to everyone.
Perhaps I can get something done with this lazy ass. Ling was in the Vehicles hangar, cleaning his specialized power armor with Arknin. "What have you been up to recently Ling?" The Priest asked. "Nothing much to be honest, I mean my sister has shown up but that's about it." Ling said to Arknin, though he did tell the truth he lacked on some details. "Wait, you have a sister?" "Yes Arknin, and no she is not single. So don't ask." "Aawww, really? That's a shame." He sighed Ling said no more and finished shining his Power Armor. He didn't want to be a lazy ass just sitting in his Quarters hiding a secret. Instead he wanted to go out and be useful, but the question was..how? He did not know, but with Arknin assisting him into the power armor he set out, to do something. "So what are you doing exactly?" "I have no clue.." He exited the Hangar, wanting to do something besides laying around his Quarters.
le open
• New Threat Ryker was adjusting to his new age... The fact he couldn't run like he could or jump like he could before. Life was more slow now. He was plenty fit for his age, not looking that bad, but the age obvious on his face. His hair had grayed out some, and some wrinkles were on his face. He was also getting used to being more close to his wife than he had in years. He still worked like he used to though, his usual fourteen hour days, working day in and day out. It was sightly concerning to most people like his wife and daughter. This was one such day, he had been awake since the previous day and he was working on something very large and technical. He was in the kitchen right now, drinking a glass of water.
Shad
• Going out for a little fun. Mir'ika woke up today with a big smile. It was going to be a good day. Early in the morning, she changed into her piloting suit. Walking into the hangar, the red-haired tau girl smiled brightly as she climbed up into her XV95 Ghostkeel Battlesuit, modified by both her and her father. It was equipped with all sorts of weaponry, for all sorts of situations. It was also built around a higher mobility. It was black and red, and had a flaming paint job. Once the door to the warehouse opened, she ran through, skipping across the General Quarters and out, into the depths of the ship. She was ready for anything, any encounter. Ready to meet anyone. • Lings Hangover of WHY. Ling was in bed, as he woke up he had the worst headache of his life. He turned his head, noticing the empty wine bottle next to him. "Oh shit..Machas going to get onto me.." Ling said, reeling back from the headache. He barely had any sense of his surroundings besides the bed itself. He got up rather weakly, standing on his two legs after five minutes of attempting to stand. Holding his head he walked out of his room, and into the kitchen. He grabbed a cup and filled it with water and started drinking it. Ling felt a tiny bit better but it wasn't much. He looked for his clothes, where ever the hell they are and thankfully he found them shortly, he put them on rather groggily. Basically his coat was backwards and he lacked his shirt. His pants were on backwards too, basically he didn't know what he was doing. He went outside.
Basically you can fück around with him. This is to just pass the time.
• The Tin Man finds his heart... A few days had passed since Ophélia had first arrived to the Bloodwrath. And it had been long, strenuous days for Abby. When she first rescued the girl, never had she thought her life would change... Due to her... appearance, Ophélia mostly stayed in Abby's makeshift library, reading books. They had grown close to one another in the past few days, moving from friends to close friends. Abby had introduced her to her sisters, Mir'ika and Amy, who were both very happy with her sister making a new friend. Abby had also explained to her that she, too, was unique in the galaxy. She was born a necron, a race of ancient metal beings, who were once a species known as the Necrontyr. She explained to her the horrible history of the Necrons, and their evil... but, she then explained to her the circumstances of her birth, how she was born from two converted people. A tau, and a human. It was thanks to her, a Necron with a free soul, that her father could orchestrate the liberation of enslaved necrons across the cosmos. With their stories shared, they shared everything. Laughs, food, drinks, knowledge... it was just like Abby wanted it. The strange feelings she felt around Ophélia grew stronger during those days... Ophélia made her feel strong, made her feel truly happy, made her feel... alive. But, whenever she wouldn't be around her, she felt empty, alone, sad. With every passing moment, it was as If a part of her soul was detached from her. She recognized the feelings, she had read something in a book about it once. But... she decided to go see her sister about it, Amy. She was the wisest of the three and the kindest. Amy explained it clearly to her sister, with a broad smile. She was in love. Deeply, deeply in love. It was like a shock to Abby. Never before had she ever been in love... but, somehow, she knew her sister was right. She always was. Amy had told her to chase the feeling, to seek her out. To complete herself... basically, she wanted her sister to reveal her love. Otherwise... it would only hurt. And it did. The thought of Ophélia being intimate with someone else became like hatred to her. She refused it. It brought her to a boil. Her emotions were in a typhoon... and as if to add insult to injury, new feelings had developped within Abby... Whenever she looked at her body, she felt hot down... there. You know where. Her curves, her long, sleek legs... Ophélia as a whole was simply divine. Every inch of her body made Abby fall head over heels, drool almost... every night, her dreams were the same. Thoughts of Ophélia... very inappropriate thoughts. And not just in dreams. Somedays, she just wanted to jump on her and do... things. It practically drove her to madness. She grew nervous, every night. She would stare at tge perfect beauty sleeping above her, in her hammock, and think. Oh, how happy she would be... the thought of Ophélia whispering tenderly in her ear, the three sacred words... her metallic heart beated, thumped, actually, harder than it had ever. But soon after, she would feel sadness. She never has the courage to tell her... and she feared she never would. And with a heavy heart, she would painstakingly fall asleep. And all of this, only in a few days. But they didn't feel like days to her. Every hour spent with or without Ophélia felt like an eternity. And today was no exception. Abby, today, needed to go to the Market. She wanted to shop for books. That always brought a smile to her lips, no matter what. If she ever was angry, sad or else, her father would give her a book, and she would immediately cheer up. So, she went. Ophélia decided to come with her, since she hadn't been outside in a long time. With a long gulp, she accepted, hoping she would contain herself in public... While Abby was in the store, Ophélia waited outside, as her body was simply too large to fit in the small door. It was late in the afternoon, so shops were closing. But the library stayed open for long hours.
For Mallymoo
• Rip and Tear Daemon Infestation Area =============================== The loud crack of a skull is heard, followed by the infamous pump of a shotgun, and then the boom of the cartridge being fired. A few roars, followed by the screams of the damned being killed, the Chaos infestation being destroyed. The portal sealed, as a person in armor, drenched in blood, throws the dead body of a Khorne Daemon Lord to the side, it's head blown to bits. The figure remained silent for a bit, hitting a button on the armor's thigh as a gravity field blips to life, rapidly expanding, clearing blood and gore off the armor and gun. Then, the figure holsters the weapon, the plates on the back of the armor hiss and seal the weapon in place. The armor was scratched and dented in a few places, but was overall fine. The figure inside rolled their head, possibly stretching a bit. An inaudible sigh is heard, muffled by the helmet, as the helmet retracts to reveal Katherine, battle-sister to the Void Wolves and chapter master of a smaller faction known as Blood Hounds. She sighs, pulling up a comms unit to anyone nearby. "This is Kat, calling to any nearby Imperium allies or associates Main daemon infestation cleared, Khornite lord dead-" She nudges it's dead body with her foot. "Any other sightings need to be reported, if you can handle them, so be t If not, I'll help" At that, she closes her comms unit, pulling her shotgun again and her helmet once more forming over her head, and she sets off to explore the area.
Feel free to interact Daemon attack, another portal, anything
• Where The Fūck Was I? | Bloodwrath's Hallways, ???? O'clock. The darkness flooded the corridors of the Bloodwrath menacingly, where only the insane or the ballsy would ever dare to stir and walk throughout, for fear and knowledge of any impending forces coming to attack any man or women kept most people at bay, or at least the saner ones. A man walked the halls of the living ship. He was by all means not a figure of death or pure badassery like most things onboard the Warp-bound vessel, rather he was a lonesome cowboy in a new frontier. The man was cautious in his movements, taking slower and quieter steps than most of the heavier and bulkier figures that walked onboard. The man bore a lightly shaded brown duster, tattered and torn along the bottom of the long jacket. As it progressed further upwards and past the leather belt he wore beneath, the outfit was progressively lighter and cleaner in appearance. His face was shaded by a hat that matched the duster, which only allowed the white of his trimmed beard and the light blue of his eyes to escape the shadow. Beneath the duster was his leather belt as previously mentioned, which had a pair of revolvers resting in their holsters, hidden beneath the brown jacket - Sixe and Grimace. In his hands, which were covered by tan gloves, was a shotgun of strange design - A double barreled gun with a third barrel, creating a triangular shape. It was without a stock, allowing the cowboy to hold it in a single hand if needed. The uranium slugs were practically radiating from the barrel. His arms were replaced by a pair of prosthetic limbs. The first was an onyx black colour, adorned with the image of a cobalt blue Phoenix on it, which replaced his left hand. The right one, where his shotgun sat, was a silver arm, though around the wrist it had a black strip, which seemingly hinted at an augmentation. The man bore nothing but that exact setup. He strides through the darkened hallways, the Frontiersman on his new Frontier. He was an explorer, and he would be damned if he didn't unlock the secrets of the mysterious vessel he was on. He heard rumors of strange artifacts and paintings, each one triggering a memory about how the Bloodwrath's new inhabitants arrived on the demonic ship, so he was exploring the inner workings to try and find the artifacts.
Mainly something for Fulgrim, though anyone can interact.
Blackburn was exhausted. Currently the leaders of the Haven (general quarters) had him running for supplies and survivors. He didn't care who they were, who they pledged allegiance to, he helped anyone who needed it. He'd been running on little to no sleep. He finally completed his last run, he'd helped an eldar female back to camp. She was as ungrateful and had a huge chip on her shoulder, at least to begin with. A couple of firefights later and close calls later and her tune changed. Her checked her into the gate, and headed here, the small area he called his home. It wasn't much but he'd gotten it as part of his agreement with the haven. Solo quarters with tools and material to fix and tinker with his gear. He exited his Exosuit and fell face first into his bed. When he woke he dressed and went to one of the bars in the haven. He didn't have a lot of money, but he didn't need it. He had an understanding with one of the barkeepers.
open
