I feel you.. I have the worst trials luck. I only play for bounties now because 50 percent of time, we get matched with 3 mlg pro sweaty types at 317 with emblem etc in the first match. Sometimes we get about 4 or 5 wins in, but we usually hit the laggers like you did, or hit the inevitable '3 titans who spam shoulder charge all game and mercilessly teabag you'. That usually takes the fun out of it real quick.

Do you think light level matters unless you're under 290?

Yes and no.. I know the difference in damage/armor is pretty insignificant, but more than likely those people at high levels have put in a heck of a lot more time into the game than me, more practice, better gear etc. Sometimes it's just the mental 'oh god, 317+ with scarab, this guy knows what he is doing...' gets some people on the back foot to begin with.

I find Sunsingers the most challenging/annoying ones. Their Super basically gives them another chance if they f*ck up. Doesn't quite fit the theme of an elimination game type, but that's just how they work.

Yeah, they can be a pain, especially those grenades, but when I see a warlock I just assume it's a self res, and keep an eye on them when they drop. All solar classes seem to be deadly at trials, hammer still scares me, even in its weakened state, and a good golden gun can wipe a team easy.
