PVP in Partol?!
What are your thoughts on a patrol mode with Pvp active? Lest say you spawn in a safe area then you can make your way around the planet like you would with no patrol, just with the threat of other guardians.
Well why not just normal patrol, well patrol with Pvp could offer double resources and xp, higher risk, better reward. Maybe the chest scattered around have a higher drop rate for legendary engrams. This would give an alternate way of obtaining loot appealing to pvp players as well as the pve players.
So discuss below, what are your thoughts?

Only if it's 100% optional. There is no way i want to run patrol and get ganked by a gang of over-compensators.

That would fail so hard. The only way that would be possible is if it required both fireteams approval before starting, with a distance limiter

Too easy to camp Guardian spawn points. Even if they were guaranteed some sort of invincibility for a while after spawning its way too easy for a team to set up choke points and ambushes. If Bungie incorporates PvP "zones" in Patrol or even a PvP request system between players, it might work. The idea of PvP in the larger Patrol maps seems tantalizing.

Division'estiny... Patrol the dark Cosmodrome... Fill it with clones of the infamous patrol bulletsponge VIP's... In ridiculous quantities... Randall the Vandall, Hellmouth bitch Wizard, that little shithead shank and the teleporting "I eat 17 Gjallarhorn rounds for lunch" Capitano... Keep them at level 8, cos they're hard as -blam!- already...!!! Increase drop rates 50 fold for all blues and purples and make loot caves drop zones for our hard "earned" loot.... All guardians fight it out for survival and goodies... Six man fireteams allowed... Matchmaking too...!!!! All the shit is already in this game... Let's make it happen...!!! #pisstake
