I recently was playing crucible and I decided to turn off vibration because I didn't like the doctrine of passing giving my controller a seizure.
I always made sure my battery was full so I didn't have to play without vibration but I turned it off and it made me do better for reasons it's kinda hard to put into words.
I feel like it was that food you always hated as a kid but then u tried it when u were older and it became ur life
Let me know what u think about controller vibration and how it can impact your gameplay

I used to have it on but got the elite controller and turned it off. Huge difference in gun accuracy.

The vibrations can knock your aim off slightly, missing a headshot etc, but i suppose its whatever people are comfortable with i always play with it off although some friends tell me they need it.. Puts me off personally

Don't know

Playing with vibration ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
I turn it on bby ~TheGreatNike

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but with my DS4, the rumble motors make a horrible rattling noise and they feel like they're rattling inside the controller
-
Takes up to much battery.
-
Idk why but I find weird controlling recoil w/o vibration
-
I think I can better measure shots taken and shots fired with vibration on.

Edited by Bump: 3/3/2016 8:41:58 PMI play with max vibration bby gurl ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I used to always play with it off, but when I got my Xbox One I didn't bother turning it off for some reason so now I'm used to it.
-
I turn it off for almost all games. My reasons being... I tend to hold the controller tight already I hold the controller tighter when it vibrates I can see myself getting shot or shooting I don't need to feel my controller shaking Controller vibration is better used in offline games You can aim better due to steadier grip Controller's batteries die slightly quicker The controller sounds like it will explode if you put it on a hard surface and it vibrates I find it more comfortable with it off while playing especially when I'm doing pvp These are my opinions on the topic. Don't get all upset and try arguing with my logic on this everyone has their own style of playing
-
So much shooting makes the vibration irritating. I do have to keep toggling it back on for games that require it, oh well.
-
Drains too much battery. I play without.
-
Are you talking just controller vibration or any?
-
I can't play without it. Im fine with my own weapons, and it does help to not have it in terms of aiming, but i need it to know when i am getting shot. Its that little extra sensory system that alerts me to move bitch get out da way.
-
I usually use vibration until I throw my controller and the vibration gizmo breaks:0 Although since I've gotten my elite controller I haven't thrown a controller. I've probably purchased 4 regular controllers since day one launch of Xbox. Temper temper
-
I used to always use vibration, but my controller makes a weird buzzing sound when it's on.
-
That's why I like haveing the elite controller. I can turn my vibration intensity up or down. I currently have mine super low, to help save battery and also to prolong vibration motor life by a little. But I like having some kinda of vibration because it's another for of communication from the game to your brain ( being non verbal it also helps since their is usually so much crazy noise going on in a fire fight it can be sometimes hard to hear).
hope that makes sense
Always off, don't want a women's sex toy going off all the time in my hands..
-
I honestly don't even feel the vibrations anymore in Destiny. Just so used to everything I guess after two years.
-
I used to turn it off but I find it difficult to time my shots correctly if I dont feel the vibration.
-
Vibration actually messes up your aim just a bit , try it without it and you will see a tad difference.
-
Without it feels -blam!-in weird man. When I take damage on Destiny, the "OH SHIT" factor comes from the controller vibration and the shield breaking sound.
-
No wonder your aim sucks people. You have a vibrator in your hand every time you get shot lmao. The more you know.
