Why would ppl suicide in any game not to mention a simple doubles game and 7 of them

^This. It wasn't too difficult to round up one friend and give our all, win or lose, for seven+ measly games.

Because you can suicide 3 games as fast as you can normally complete one. So if you don't care about your K/D, and if you're just looking for rewards, playing the games out was a waste of time.

Suicide isn't a waste. I got 2 315-316 ghosts in under 2 hours and both shaders. Also got the 320 yesterday from the post... Even though I go every game I played was suicide.

Suiciding is quicker... Which means more games that go by... Which means more chances to get rewards... Which means more rewards drop

The first day, I only had a short play period and I played legit and for the first shader. The second day I had an even shorter play period, played legit, and didn't get anything. I knew the last day I had to play I didn't have that much time either, and I was trying to farm the last shader. So I suicided and got it in my next to last match. You can fight RNG if you want. I played it, thought it was ok, then needed to farm the shader.

My post originally was toward suiciding 7 games in a row for the ghost, but other than that idc yet it's still stupid

We had a match once where the other team suicided - believe me - they weren't wasting my time at all :)

The first round we jumped off and they won 1-0. The second round, we jumped off and they did to, so it stayed 1-0. The next game, one of us jumped off, and I didn't, they did and it was tied 1-1. The fourth round we ran at them and let them kill us, they were up 2-1. The next game, we ran part of the way there, jumped off, and only one of them could jump off in time. They were up 3-1. The heavy round, we ran for heavy, and rocketed ourselves to death. They were up 4-1. The next round, we ran at them, they saw us, we ran to a ledge and jumped, and they did to, game still at 4-1. The next game we ran at them, they didn't shoot us, so we killed one of the, then the other guy fired back and killed us and they won 5-1. Was kind of fun and funny to play.

First, playing [u]any[/u] video game is a waste of time. So your version of wasting time is not superior in any way to my wasting time. Second, I wasn't wasting anyone else's time. There's lots of teams I beat 5-0. There's lots of teams that beat my team 5-0. This was just a faster version of that.

I'm not sure every game is a waste of time dude. It's entertainment, people go and spend hours watching tv and movies or reading books, I think video games are pretty much the same thing. I honestly have nothing against the people who resorted to suicide farming, I wanted to snag all the event specific loot myself but couldn't get either of the ghosts to drop. I probably would have tried farming myself if I was more clever, so now I'm missing a chocolate ghost in my collection(sad day for a Guardian) But my aparemtly long winded point is that if a game can keep SO many people still playing it than I don't think it's a waste of time, it's become more of a hobby to a lot of people. (My god I keep replying with these paragraphs...sorry for the long read man)

I understand your point about entertainment. I mean it can have positive effects on you, but there is always a more constructive thing you could be doing. But it's kind of not the point I was attempting to make. Basically, he was trying to say his way of playing the game is somehow superior to mine, and I was wasting my time, but he wasn't. Which is narcissistic nonsense.
