Hi, not sure if this has been posted before (a quick search came up negative) but after seeing a lot of feedback where more casual players are having difficulty in crucible I think it is worth asking.
Are players interested in a casual PvP playlist that does NOT track player stats. Meaning your scores would not carry through or be tracked anywhere including things like KD ratios or grimoire progression.
I would suggest that questlines can be completed and only limited rep earned for players who struggle completing quests with PvE and PvP elements.
I think this would help people who do not feel comfortable in a PvP environment but also provide a space for people to "relieve" themselves of the burden of playing for stats and focus on fun or training friends who are new or PvP shy.
There should be no after action rewards such as legendary drops and things like three of coins should not work. I would expect that people would just drop in and farm if that were the case, which is why I'm also a bit on the fence about quest completions and some rep being allowed but figured that is a decent compromise.
People have been asking for a gun range or someplace to test their weapons etc I think this may help satisfy that request as well.
Just a thought please feel free to add your own. I know it sounds overly casual but having it as an option may encourage more players to try PvP or practice is a less serious environment.
Other FPS have done similar styles where it's a noob zone but I would prefer that players of any level should be able to use it. The lack of rewards would likely keep the more intense players out and I would see it as a good place where players can round out their skills in all weapons and classes rather than depending on their go-to skill sets.
There are some very obvious negatives involved as well so please feel free to list your concerns as well.

I've been seeing a lot of posts about people not enjoying crucible again lately, bumping to see if there's more interest.

Sometimes you just wanna have a non sweat match, it's called control, everything is viable and fairgame

Edited by TannicMite7: 2/20/2016 4:29:20 AMHard part is that dicks would come in and try to screw people over. It's a great idea in principle but in practice I'm not sure how it would hold up.
-
That would be nice.

Seeing as stats don't matter and logically then you couldn't use it to do bounties because it wouldn't track things then it's not a great idea. I get where you're coming from though.

Would be easier to just add ranked

They should have a tier system that you have to earn your way up thru, you start like everyone and the better you are the faster you get to the levels meant for elites and you can't ever go against anyone under your level again. Then the rest of us can do what needs done in pvp without getting slaughtered by people with huge egos.
-
They literally just implemented that.
-
That's why they need private matches, so people can have fun messing about, practicing with friends and simply enjoy pvp and relax some tome
-
That's what the freelance playlist is for.

Have a bump on me

Edited by Magik512: 2/18/2016 8:56:01 PMI would like a gun range in the tower so that we can test weapon and weapon rolls without having to drop down to earth and pick on the poor dregs... A casual playlist would be an amazing addition and if they ever put in custom games it should behave the same as the casual playlist detailed above.
