Sniping to win: 1. Map knowledge - know the sniping lanes. Know where not to stand. 2. Pick one weapon - take the variability of your weapon out of the equation. Find the amount of auto aim you want and stick to it. 3. Shortgaze vs ambush - these are pretty much the optimal distance scopes, aka the shortest distance scopes. Ambush decreases auto aim, shortgaze increases auto aim 4. 1kys - you probably need this to be competitive. It deals the most damage (highest impact) without taking up an exotic slot. Eirene doesn't have good scopes. (Doesn't have ambush or shortgaze) 5. Don't stare - don't stay zoomed in on your scope for more than 3 seconds. Someone with a shotgun wants to kill you. He's probably a titan and he is probably skating towards you at this moment. 6. Don't go back - if someone knows where you are, they have the advantage over you. Find a new spot. 7. Lower your look sensitivity - if you are moving your reticle slower, you will be able to take advantage of auto aim more. Also, this will help you keep a steadier hand under fire.
