  • Scout rifle damage buff gave mida too much dps. Damage bonus on that archetype was unneeded. People state Ttk is the same, yet so are pulse rifles. But if it still takes three bursts to kill with a pulse, why then do they not now people down as quickly? Dps reduced so pulses don't overpower everything else. Scouts harder to use close range? Contradictory statement as mida will out gun most handcannons and autos in their designated ranges.

  • Mida wins against most auto rifles and hand cannons at close range. You is not lying about that. It happened to me several times. Guns like Doctrine or Hard light will melt it though

  • I agree with you. People saying it's the same have not read that update. I've looked through a lot of profiles claiming they play a lot of PvP. That's also not true. But I bet those are the same people from the Thorn era saying. Yea, Thorn has always two shot headshot.

  • Damage bonus on that archetype changes nothing about pvp. The amount of shots needed to kill and the time to fire them off never changed. Pulses do seem much weaker, i wish they weren't nerfed as hard as they were. Mida outguns people at close range because morons with handcannons and autos charge at you shooting (durr he's got a scout this will be easy). All you have to do is strafe and fire to beat them. If they weren't idiots, they wouldn't have a problem.

  • If damage bonus means nothing then why do pulses not -blam!- face anymore? They only do about ~3 points of damage less per shot. They're still incredibly good though. It doesn't change Ttk, but it effects how much damage you put into someone. Medium and high rof scout rifles do more damage per shot than they used to in year one. Mida out gunning at close range has nothing to do with people running straight at mida users. I've seen people and have gotten the first shot on mida users only to have them turn around and stagger zoom strafe for a kill or trade. I think they should just remove high caliber rounds. It doesn't need it. It's a bit ridiculous at times.

  • I almost only play with last word on PvP and I think that the MIDA is fine and don't need any nerf. The problem is that this weapon is overused by the community so if we get killed by MIDA 80% of the time it's because of this.

  • Sorry I just highly disagree. Scouts already got nerfed once or twice. I'd agree with you Fter bungie fixes the other guns. But the out come won't need a nerf to scout rifles

  • Lol it's good. I felt like an idiot saying well Mida feels the same sorta. Than a friend of mine picked my phone up and was like here you go. Right here in the app you can go back to the scout rifle update that a lot of people missed and read it yourself.
