I realise alot of people dont need this because they play this game ALOT. I however play when i can. And dont have or acquire alot of engrams for enough weapon parts or armor materials
When i do get any. I use them instantly on stuff that ive been waiting to lvl up or upgrade.
So rather than grinding for engrams specifically. Since we already grind weekly and daily for legendary marks.
Why not just have the option for such a thing?
LM for armor mats
LM for weapon parts
Edit: yes sounds like weapon parts in exchange for glimmer. Sorry but i would still rather have the option for legendary marks. I like my glimmer. That still dissappears fast too!

The when you dismantled it you got like 3-4 extra materials for the weapon or armor instead of 1-2. It gave you enough to get your upgrades done for the day. I loved that! That's a grind that makes sense! Now they increased the demand for armor materials (with infusing) and decreased the rate at which you get those materials... a little imbalanced??? Think about it in terms of real life. It's like getting a house, or a car, or a PC, or a paintball gun, or a guitar, etc. Fixing it up, repairing it, upgrading it, and then flipping it for more money. That's a process that's logical and rewarding. This new decreased drop rare for armor materials is just flat out boring. I'm missing a part of the game I loved. Sure you can still kinda do it with blues but it takes sooo much longer. So the return for the amount of work isn't really worth it. You used to be able upgrade multiple green items with a bounty or two. Now a full day of bounties only gets you half way through the first upgrade with 4 Blue pieces of unique upgraded armor equipped. That's 4 days of bounties to get them maxed out. To then only get 2-3 materials instead of 3-4. I guess motes can help too. But that's lame. I liked working the bounties to upgrade and make a profit. This is just lame.
