The story I have heard more than once is that the fate of all fools is a unique weapon owned by one person. It was gifted to someone who had brain surgery or something. I don't know if that's right but it's what I've heard

Yeah, and Bungie has no plans on giving anybody else the weapon. We got the Jade Rabbit, which has the "Fate of All Fools" perk, so it's a very good guess that we won't be getting the original.
