Destiny is a fine game concept, and it did a lot of things right. That said, it is the creative people and specifically, the ones on top, that have the power to make it a masterpiece or just OK. Once you sacrifice artistic value for revenues and you let your publisher dictate artistic content, you're in for a bumpy road ahead. A lot of Bungie's identity was lost when they lost Marty. There is no possible replacement to make up for the loss of the prolific and outstanding work Salvatori and O'Donnell created for the studio over the years. Someone didn't think this through...
