The Tale of an Awoken Warlock

The Tale of an Awoken Warlock (A real dream occurrence) Here I was standing in the Tower awaiting the arrival of my soon to be bride; a beautiful Queen she would make to the throne. When she arrived we were gifted two Hawkmoons by my High Priestess as a wedding present. She informed us that these two particular Hawkmoons could share a blood pact so strong with its Guardian that if they were to separate from its owner that it would begin to pulse with a glow of red and would allow communication with each other. Before the wedding day the ceremony took place in a geodesic dome outlined with tapestries and candles, a bowl of burning Sage was passed around and we was anointed with Oil. The other fellow Awoken Warlocks begun to chant as the High Priestess began the ceremony that would bind our souls forever to these guns. On the bottom of the Hawkmoons slid open a port that concealed a glowing green chamber inside. We then held out our fingers to be pricked and then dropped blood into each others guns. Both Hawkmoons emitted a burst of red light, so bright it blinded us. The light slowly faded away and it was done... After the ceremony was over with, I kissed my soon to be Bride goodbye and I went out for a stroll. It was dark and I had wandered down a new trail, before I knew it I had tripped over a root and rolled down a hill into a lake. I came up for air and shook my head in disbelief. I looked down and saw this pulsing red light slowly make its way to the bottom. Dang! My gun... As I floated down into the abyss I soon realized that I was not alone, a terrifying darkness swarmed around me and my mind soon became corrupted by the spirits of the deep. My feet landed on the floor of the bottom of the lake, I felt around for my gun, I couldn't even see the pulse red glow of my revolver, due to the swirling darkness around me. At last I picked it up and gave a firm shove off the floor of the lake, but by then it was too late; I was running out of air and my mind had fallen to the darkness. The spirits had convinced me that I would never make it, so I fought and fought against the darkness, but I just couldn't swim hard enough and my world went black... I awoke staring at a face covered with a hooded cloak with glowing beady eyes it spoke, "I don't have to tell you where you're, I think you already know" I responded "Yep, I'm dead" "Precisely!" It said (a little too happy) "now let me heal these wounds, can't have a dead body running around looking rough now!" I looked at my skin and there were boils and holes were worms had devoured my flesh to bone. The beady eyed creature put its hand to my head, hummed an incantation, and all my wounds were healed. I passed out... I awoke shortly after in a world tinted palish-green; I turned my head to see the creature rummaging through its things, it spoke of a great darkness stirring deep below and soon it would overtake the world, something about a prophecy fulfilled, a glowing object, and an Awoken who conquered death. It handed me my Hawkmoon, some tea, and began to tell me the tale of how this darkness came to be. Some time had passed and my Hawkmoon begun to glow red and I could hear my fiancé crying mourning my death, oh how painful my heart burst. I yelled hoping she'd hear my words, to tell her I was alive in this spiritual world, but the dark hooded beaded eyes creature reassured me that it was pointless to incessantly try to communicate back to the living. I retired back to my sleeping quarters, angry... I was awoken by a strange sound a unison of voices flowing from my gun. "What is this? It's a forbidden magic that had been sealed away, but now it's being used? *gasp, it's the Resurrection song and they are singing it!" The beady eyed creature burst into my room screaming ,"There's trouble brewing!" So I sprung up to see to this matter, with my trusty Hawkmoon in hand glowing red, I peered through the doorway to see the darkness pouring into the cavern. The beady eyed creature spoke, "They've come for you and now you must fight your way back, stay strong Guardian and you will prevail, fulfill the prophecy!" And he vanished into thin air... This enormous creature stood before me sucking all the light from the room, the only thing that emitted light was from my Hawkmoon. The voices grew louder and I could feel the song coursing through my veins, as I battled long and tirelessly sinking bullets deep into this beast it finally roared and collapsed at my feet. The song grew louder and a blinding light pierced the darkness I then found myself floating above thousands of Warlocks chanting the Resurrection song and there she was dressed in all white robes with gold outlines, my love. As I floated down to the ground she ran to me, wrapped her arms around me, and we cryed ever so happily... From that day forward the Warlocks gained the power of Resurrection, the Sunsinger Warlocks... (I hope you all enjoyed my dream, no I don't have a fiancé or even a girl in my life, so who knows why that even happened, but it is the dream world after all) Later Guardians!
