This sounds like a really fun Idea and would fit in so much but I don't think bungie would be allowed to do this because I don't know the name but it is very similar as u can just fly off into space with ur ship and get into cool space dog fights but I would love to see this in destiny.

Don't get me wrong I think a lot of people would love to see this considering the destiny world is dying.

The biggest issue with something like this is that bungie probably doesn't want to invest time into something this different from the base game unless it garantees that people spend more time in the game.
