Is it wrong to spend money on a game you like?

Is it?

  • Inherently, there is nothing wrong with spending money on something you enjoy. For me personally, the $40 season pass for TDB and HoW was not worth the price, so I flat out refused to buy TTK until I knew everything it offered. With TTK came the optional pack of some emotes, shaders, and class items for $20. A little later on, they released more emotes, a total of $40 worth. Not only was there now more supposed monetary value in a bunch of (mostly) cosmetic, the content of TTK ($40) was essentially compared to be of equal worth to maybe 20 dance animations. Then add in the Festival of the Lost items, and the SRL stuffs, and it makes you really question pricing for Destiny. I'm fine with paying for quality content. I'm not alright with Bungie taking advantage of people.
