So I'm always hearing about problems Bungie needs to address. But what are they?

Tell me, what problems ail you that they haven't addressed? Story: First thing they announced as being different from Vanilla. All we've heard is that there most definitely is an actual story with a plot line. Now, don't expect it to be absolutely amaze-balls Last of Us style, but it exists even if the initial premise is fairly basic. In-game lore, is it Grimoire in-game? No, but finding these pockets of information will be more current than the history more common to the Grimoire. It's a different way to tell a different aspect of the lore and how the laws of Destiny's universe work. How it works is by finding an object of interest you can have your Ghost inspect it at least in the gameplay instance I saw where the player scanned a Taken hole that Oryx uses to abduct his victims as well as an instance where Ghost took a closer look at a dead Cabal. Add in that the Tower's about to be much more fleshed out with updated lore, Foundries, and characters are starting to get more personality and we've got an interesting case building. All Tower changes in TDB and HoW were free of charge. Crucible lag frustrations: Already confirmed to have a new Match Making system for vanilla Crucible, instead of straight up skill-based like we have for everything that's not Trials (connection based there) we're going to see a more hybrid system as well as more "under the hood" enhancements. You don't even need to purchase TTKing to get this part of the expansion. Probably won't solve everything but they're not stopping. Drop rates: You've seen what HoW's done to Legendaries in terms of getting drops from Crucible and Strikes. Add-in a system to arrive with TTKing that keeps track of what's dropping for you and tweaks your chances in favor of things you've been having a drought and once again a step forward. Note it won't completely for sure give you a Sniper for every Shotgun, Fusion, and Sidearm you get, but it'll enhance your chance with RNG to get one. No purchase necessary outside of equipment from Raids and quest rewards Customization: All Year 2 gear can get you to the max level. No purchase necessary unless you want to get to max Light Level) Year one carry-overs: That's not a problem. It's a decision and one that while highly debatable isn't without merit to the game some want to experience, problem is Destiny's playerbase is huge and it's impossible to please everyone and both sides of this debate have positive and negative effects on the game overall. Balance: Already addressed. Got a problem with a coming nerf? Recognize it's not the final balance patch, alternatively, if you think something being OP isn't a problem in either PvE or PvP see my previous statement regarding Year one Legendaries. No purchase necessary unless something from TTKing's quests or what not is over/under powered (subclasses will prove interesting) Year one costing money: You paid for entertainment. If you weren't entertained than why didn't you stop playing? Year two coming at a great value: If they don't get the Legendary collection pre-order package they have to buy a copy of Destiny AND both DLCs. If they pre-order they get a damn good deal. How does that affect you? Every year will improve on the next, feedback from ideas implemented in minor expansions will proceed for augmentation into the next Major Expansion/sequel. That's a feature, not a fault. Vault Space: Stay tuned tomorrow. That's all we know outside of kiosks. All tower changes from HoW and TDB were free of charge. On the flip side some issues and things to remember regarding TTKing: Euro pricing, don't need to say more. Remember, while HoW hype material didn't lie at any point it wasn't without mild exaggeration. Keep that in-mind with TTKing's hype material, listen to what's said and keep your expectations realistic. PoE was said to be Re-playable and it is to a good chunk of the community who likes that kind of game mode, however it's not for everyone. The streams will tell you what you need to know. Once again however everything Bungie said it'd do HoW did. TL;DR & ending note That's the emboldened topics, take a glance at the ones relevant to you and let me know what I missed, I'll gladly edit in anything as well as have a discussion. I'm not here to White Knight Bungie, but I am here to knock out some of the pure rage that's rolling around without contribution. ^-^
