So We all know that the grind for materials is tedious unless you have the marks but i was wondering if we could get the ability to sell materials for marks as well? at the same exchange rate of course. it would help with certain annoyances of mark gathering and material gathering. On a side note I'm wondering why refer-a-friend is only for Xbox One and PS4 and not the Xbox 360 and PS3 as well?

  • they used to buy mats, in fact that helped me buy a faction armor as the crucible guy paid crucible marks, vanguard guy paid Vangaurd marks, so not being into pvp but needing a faction armor/wep selling mats helped me get extra I needed, think it stopped just before TDB landed, so nearly a year ago, no good reason why it shouldn't return, though no doubt Bungie must have some agenda for it not to/have been removed in first place.

  • Agreed with suggestion. As for your other question, I think that Bungie wants to start pushing the envelope that next-gen is where it's at now. Personally, it sucks for those who haven't upgraded yet, for various reasons, but as much Bungie gets crap for aspects of Destiny, they kinda got this part right in saying gamers should really consider upgrading. Just my thoughts, take them as you will.

  • Totally agree. It's written right in the Grimoire. The economic system of the city is built off guardians bringing in materials in exchange for currency. So, how about it, Bungie? Then we would have a reason to do patrols AND be able to try more gear and upgrade it... in a nutshell, it would make the game more enjoyable.
