Hey everyone, long story short: I was mulling over the significance of map names and up pops Sector 618. Not only could it be a 7 reference (6+1, 8-1) but there is an old marathon infinity level called "Hats off to 819". Flip 819 on its head (or put the hat back on so to speak) and you get 618.
