(We find ourselves in the middle of titan graduation ceremony about twelve years ago) "Guardians! You have finished your training with top marks! You have trained hand at hand as titans, now you will fight hand at hand as brothers!" Captain Howard Fretts stood tall with his hands behind his back as he spoke. "Hooah!" shouted the titan cadets. "Your training is over, but the war is not. Protect the City, reclaim lost worlds, conquer the Darkness." continued Captain Howard. "Hooah!" replied the cadets once more. "Dismissed." The ceremony came to an end. The, once were, cadets were officially titans! The titans walked around, talked, and packed their belongings. All they had to do was wait for their next objective. "Blake, why defender? Not that I'm judging..." asked James Deacon. "Well, I always had this need to make sure my team, [i]family[/i], stays standing. I think it was from my past life, but that is all a blur. Plus, without me and my ward, who's going to save your a**?" answered Blake Thrower. "Okay, okay, that last part, no. That is.... one hundred percent true. Either way, we can test which subclass is better in combat." The two close friends walked to the carrier that was shipping them to the City, Earth. The two boarded the ship and closed the door. "D***, this is packed." said James taking shallow breaths. The ship entered Earth's orbit, the Traveler hovered as a monument, a beacon of light. "Whoa, nice to see the one who brought me back." said Blake looking out the window. "I was the medic that saved your life... though, I may have stitched your nose on wrong." said a ghost with a white shell and a red cross that covered his eye. "Yeah! Thanks Doc, now I have a hard time breathing when I sleep." Blake's ghost was quite fitting. A medic for a defender. The ship docked at the Tower. The titans got off and were greeted by the Speaker. "Welcome, guardians. You are the soldiers with top marks? We are thankful to have you on our side. The Tower is your home, feel free to explore." with that, the Speaker went back to his office. Some titans followed frames to their new rooms while others made friends with hunters and warlocks. Blake and James visited the Vanguard. "Welcome titans. What can we do for you?" asked Commander Saladin. "Oh, I'm sorry. We are just having a look around. Maybe find aliens to fight." said James as he punched his palm. "We have no ergant matters to attend to at the moment." Commander Saladin was sure until a certain call. Ikora patched the call through the holographic projector on the table. "Commander! It's the Fallen!" shouted a titan that was under fire. "The Devils?!" asked Commander Saladin worried! "No, Sir! All of them! Devils, Kings and Winter!... AHHH!..." The video ended after showing a shock blade piercing the titan's helmet. Commander Saladin propped himself against the table. Blake and James looked at each other. "Commander? Do we have permission to speak?" asked Blake. "Granted." Commander Saladin did not look up. "We are a part of a fresh shipment of the best titans. Let us fight the Fallen!" Blake stood proudly. Commander Saladin looked up, almost shocked by their courage. He looked to the other Vanguard members. They nodded in agreement. Commander Saladin walked out of the Hall. "Come on! We got to round up some titans!" Blake and James looked to each other, then followed. "Hello! This is Commander Saladin, Titan Vanguard. I need all titans to gather at the Tower courtyard!" Commander Saladin put down the P.A. system. It did not take long for titans to show up. Being called on by Commander Saladin meant one thing: there was danger ahead! "Greetings, guardians! We have just learned that our soldiers at Twilight Gap have been attacked by the Fallen. I am leading an assault to take back Twilight Gap!" "Hooah! Hooah! Hooah!" the titans raised their weapons in the air! Titans marched up the mountain behind Commander Saladin! The Fallen watched them approach. They cried orders to each other! Vandals tried to hold their ground, but seeing almost a thousand titans was terrifying. The walkers positioned themselves to target the marching titans as well as some flying over head! The titans, however, were not phased. They marched up the mountain chanting! Their chant echoed through the valley! The thousands of titans synced their voices! "Hoo... ha ha! Hoo.. ha ha! Hoo.. ha ha!" The Fallen tried to retreat! They thought the titans were calling down the thunder! The Kell of Kings rallied the Houses once more! Both the titans and the Fallen charged each other!
