just geuss what this post is about. but first answer the main question
-
If you get 6 golden guns I want 6 nova bombs
-
-
Why is tracking for hammers considered an argument? They barely work.
-
I do just fine with 3
-
Add a small movement speed debuff and dern sure
-
3 is underwhelming, 4 would be pretty balanced, 5 is just a tad bit too much, and 6 is almost OP but not quite.

Edited by alghasfohsafovah: 11/4/2015 7:22:37 PMYes, it would. Now, I can guarantee you're going to respond with, "Well, then, why is Hammer of Sol fine with 6 hammers?" Golden Gun is an entirely different Super from Hammer of Sol. Sure, they're both roaming and they both have the potential to one-shot any enemy in the Crucible, but Hammer of Sol requires time to reach the target and is affected by gravity. Golden Gun reaches its target instantaneously and travels in a straight line. You have to take more time to lead your target with your hammer and to make sure you're aiming correctly to counter the trajectory. Thus, if your aiming is off, you'll need more hammers to throw if you miss. We also have to consider that Sunbreakers don't have a whole lot of power outside their Super when it comes to abilities. At best, they have a sticky grenade and a Solar T-Rex punch. Gunslingers have 1-shot sticky Tripmines and as many as 3 Throwing Knives that reset their cooldown when you kill someone with it. They rely less on their Super for kills because they're still very powerful outside of it. Sunbreakers rely more on the power of their Hammers to get kills than their other abilities. More Hammers means more kills while in their Super, and that makes sense because they're not going to get a whole lot of kills outside of it unless they're really good at sticking people with Fusion Grenades. TL;DR: Comparing these 2 subclasses and their Supers is like comparing a Bladedancer to a Voidwalker. It's a completely different playstyle with different strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. Gunslingers have a more powerful Super, are more well-rounded in terms of abilities, and can get a decent amount of kills with both. Sunbreakers have a harder Super to aim at longer ranges and have to get creative outside their Super to get more kills.

Yes. No question
-
If it gets less time I'd be fine with it.
-
yea but it should have 4 shots normally and remove the helmet that plus 1 gg shot so no one can have 5 now tat would be fair.
-
Yeaaahhh thats op XD
-
Yes. It needs to be buffed, but not like that. I'm kinda thinking along the lines of maybe being removed from radar while it's active, since popping it just gets everyone to turn and instakill you.

no cause we don't have a damage reduction

Edited by XiX_GhOsTx_XiX: 11/4/2015 8:56:41 PMPersonally I think that Gunslinger should have 4 shots normally and 5 with the Helmet and all kills automatically have combustion plus a large damage buff and allow precision damage in PvE. It's ridiculous that a single Centurion or other shielded major can tank an entire super. There is exactly zero extra armor while being in your super and I've personally shut down a ton of Gunslingers before they can kill me. They definitely need a buff and this is coming from someone that doesn't main a Hunter. Gunslinger has been an exceptionally weak super since Day One and it would definitely be nice to see it brought up to the level of other supers. This is just my opinion and I realize that a lot of the PvP players will say it's OP but I really don't think so. Edit: And it goes without saying that the duration definitely needs a buff.

Only thing a GG need is to give the super an extended time. It's way to short.
-
Um... What kind of question is this. You're giving some one the power to feasibly and potentially wipe out an entire team on command. No way is that okay.... Wait a minute. Just hold on... Sunbreakers can throw like 7 hammers....

It would most likely time out before you could use all 6
-
Well clearly not if "Sunbreaker isn't OP"
-
It's called celestial nighthawk. Duh
-
Only if it generated weapon parts for all nearby guardians.

Edited by KidSixXx: 11/4/2015 8:05:36 PMGunslingers prefer quality over quantity. 3 shots is more than enough to get the job done.

Yes. Hunters even agree. Now back to the real reason you posted this. NERF SUNBREAKER!!! Can you hear it?
Choo Choo. It's the nerf train coming for your precious super, Titans. :D
