The reason why Fallout 4 will not kill Destiny...

One is multiplayer, the other isn't. It's as simple as that. In one game, you can show off your gear to your friends and hang in a raid, run Trials together, and even hit up a few strikes. In the other game, there's no showing. None of that hanging out. It's just you and your friends in a party, talking about how you're playing in your own little worlds. If you're a loner to begin with, that's okay too. But for the large percentage of Destiny's playerbase, I'm willing to bet you guys won't stay away from this game for very long... Now don't get me wrong, I'm pumped for Fallout. And I agree with everyone who's saying it'll be GOTY. I just don't think it will "obliterate Destiny" as much as everyone thinks it will. And personally, I'll still find myself compelled to do raids, nightfalls, and Trials every week.

  • Skyrim has less content than Fallout 4 and that was my main game I played for almost 3 years. Fallout is not only an even bigger world, but now we'll have console mods too.

  • Destiny is already dead. The fun is gone and it has nothing left to offer any one with who doesn't enjoy doing the same thing every single day every single week. Halo took a huge chunk, fallout is going to take a huge chunk and cod will. Plus all the Clancy games comming out. If you like destiny look into the division, that game looks amazing.

    • A single proper playthrough is going to be a MINIMUM of 150 hours. That's not even mentioning the inevitable playthroughs that follow the first. It's also a question of quality and Bethesda games while buggy at first ALWAYS become instant classics. Destiny is an okay game but it was never a GOTY contender like Fallout 4 will be. This is another example of quality being superior to quantity. Just because people might put more hours into a game does not make it better than games that people put less time in.

    • Literally every game in the last year was suppose to "kill" destiny. And it's not dead.
