This idea is kinda out in right field but I think it would add a lot to Destiny. All of us by now have hopefully seen the tower enough to know that the scenery around the tower has some very large and beautiful terrain. I for one feel imprisoned by the tower space we are given and would love to wonder into the city below and meet some of the citizens I put my unlimited respawns on the line for everyday. And then I got a really cool idea about how to get Bungie interested. One of the main complaints in the game is the lack of social content and free roaming abilities. The solution to this problem is simple... Horde mode. Protect the city from endless waves of Fallen, Hive, Vex and Cabal. The Darkness is making one last attempt at destroying the light. This idea may take a lot of Bungie resources, but it would add a whole lot of aspects to an incomplete game. This could also work for the wooded and mountainous areas behind the tower. There could even be some multiplayer type gamemodes added to the city. Like rescue the hostage or capture the flag. Maybe be able to add defense lines to the gates surrounding the city for horde mode. There are lots of ideas I can spurt out but I'd like to hear from some other guardians. Let's get this bumped so DeeJ can see it. I want to know if it's even possible to add such a large mechanic to this game. Comment if you like the idea and/or have any additional thoughts.
